( Tomorrow ) Same Jolly Roger as reward. I'm really starting to lose interest in this game. And the reason is WG and their decisions and marketing strategies. I did quit ranked in season 1 after a few games. I did quit season 2 after just one game; for the same reason as you. I dont know I dont think I WANT to play ranked but the rewards are kind of "immoral". Started at rank 18 and after 10 battles i ended up on rank 20... not sure if have the patience to grind to rank 15 to unlock the tier 7/8 battles. I agree that randoms are just fine, but i play ranked because you get 20% more credits and xp in them, but if you progress also flags and premiums. Im trying to be honest (I dont mean and dont want to offend anyone) but Why? Random Ranked whats the differance in the palyer base none ? I presume you play random with 15 plays on each side atleast in ranked you only got to put up with 7 and you get rewards to many giving up to easily just because it does not go the way they want it is open for all to enjoy and play I beleive ranked to be OK mostly and enjoy playing,and last season most of the games I played were very good games won & lost games Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Random Ranked whats the differance in the palyer base none ? Its for me the game goal. It always playing the objective, but here there is NOTHING but the objective .... or it should be. Take Land of fire for example, spawning north. If in a random match your cowardly camping battleship only manage to go south of the C line after 15 minutes into the game because the enemy push reached their north spawn and they were now hunted down after they let their team die .... well that induces rage. On the other hand I was maybe only doing some grind towards a new ship, or for some credits and I still had a somewhat acceptable game. On the other hand lets say I am doing what I can in ranked, but my team mates think the objective is the sun and they are the 2003 discovered body Sedna. Therefore thinking even Sednas perihelion is too dangerous and they really need to save up on their max. 30k silver repairs from the aphelion, and completely throwing the game. There are also a lot of parasites too who simply hope their team will carry them (like the aftkers who just enter as much games as possible), while they are here to even try to grind the most horrible ships with stock configuration and captains. So played one game, already think its a bad idea to actually try. I present you my teams only DD. What gets me mad beyond reason is not how abysmally bad this guy is, but that he got no idea off how to play this ship and DDs in general. How could he without actual games played? On top of that the Minekaze is probably stock or maybe max. the hull upgraded with only 7 such pitiful games and the captain without skills, just like I told you. But oh no he got do sabotage his team and drive THIS ship into battle just to scavenge the ranked rewards like a parasite ... So in game the DD couldnt be bothered with caping and hid even behind me in a cruiser. And I was closest to the enemy ... in a german cruiser .... yeah so much for my teams bravery. Miraculously we got one cap, they the other one. In then decided to take it upon me to fight 4 ship at once (2 Clevelands, 1 Königsberg and 1 Onion-voi) and getting the second cap also. By then I got our two kills. Still I cant fight this many ships without taking damage. Meanwhile the rest of the team went on their cometary journey outwards left of the islands of fault line and got sunk by the Fuso waiting for them. So just to recap: they couldnt win their engagement with superior numbers; but I guess thats more important than helping me defending our caps. So even tough I got sunk at 50 % of the game duration .... So whats my reward in this game? I dont care for the damn silver; all I can see is a big fat defeat! But that part about the immoral rewards for ranked in general? yeah got 3k free xp for loosing one game. Thats crazy, thats retarded .... thats so .... WG. So what now ... trying to wad through all the cowards, vultures, afkers to maybe scrape some more ridiculous rewards from WG? I just played 3 matches into the new season, and in 2 of those matches there have been 4 dd´s, 1 cruiser and 2 bs me included.... WTF am I as a bs skipper suppose to do??? The only thing I will ever see from those dd´s is a red line approaching me... That crap should be done something about, because it is pointless to play ranked battles without having a chance of even seing who one´s even fighting... [2OP] Beardroid91 Players 357 posts 13,853 battles Report post #19 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) I see no point in playing Ranked anymore until WG fixes it, as there should be a filter to sort the noobs from the good players, as everyone can grind their way up to the rank where you unlock ranked battles. WG should have more restrictions to enter ranked battles because as it is now you can play a very good battle only to have a premium noob in a Tirpitz die or forget to use their torps or some other mistake that a skilled player wouldn't make, like being full broadside in a BB and not understanding the how the amour works - which is essential in World of Warships. And all of this could be fixed by having the battle mode reset to random battles and not stay on ranked battle mode upon game start. Playing ranked is like being stuck in quick sand, only the more you play, the more you're likely to lose all of your progress due to noobs in a haze drugs not knowing how to play the game mode or their ships for that matter. Makes me sick .... Ranked were supposed to be the place for the good players to show their skills and not a place where the noobs should be allowed to drag a team to defeat. I will skip this season, the flag is the same and I'm really tired of dd spam. It's just not worth it anymore, I get sick to the stomach when I see so many dd's. If I did one I would get a low grade patched to my profile and I would feel an urge to make it progress. I'm in the 300 fires phase of the Myoko mission and this requires a kind of playstyle which may well be totally wrong in a ranked. The best loser-worst winner system has still not be adopted.
