Warspite seems a bit steep, the Tirpitz or Kutuzov at 60 bucks are for sure a better deal.

All the crap offers every sane customer complained about during december are back. I'm not even surprised.

No, in fact I don't even understand, everyone that may have been interested in those... "offers", bought them in December.  Why put them back? They hope to hook some late cash cows?

AND WHERE IS TONE? (in her 80€ bundle)

WGEU's marketing department needs to be sacked and then (preferably) beaten up a bit. Even a goddamn first-year marketing student should do a better job than that. (and I know cause I am a second year and I skipped classes for my first year straight)

Really, think for a second...Why do you think they keep on doing this?

(Hint: because it works).

I bought Blyskawica and i thought it would be "special" when it first came to the premium shop.

Now it has been three times in premium shop in few months.

It is likely that i will never buy ship again.

Yeah guys, marketing professionals of a billion dollar company know less than you :P

They have education/experience/tools/statistics/information/research data/sales figures that you don't have. If bundle strategy continues, it's because it's working as intended. Please move on....

Like there aren't companies that have failed because of stupid marketing at all. Never in the world has something like that happened, right?

When it becomes relevant it will be too late.

It seems to work for WG for some years now. They offer, we buy. Or others buy, while we pay with our time.

The bottom line is still in their favour.

Worked on World of Tanks, it's working here. They are not stupid. If they feel they need to change something to keep their business going, they will.

If they don't, it means that there is enough people still willing to spend money on those things (in the last tirpiz sale, someone mentioned over 20k of those ships sold, do your math)

I don't think WoT does that. Especially now when it has competition from other titles. You can buy a tier 6 jap Tiger, Dickermax, SU-100Y for 10 EU. Tier 2 cans cost like 3 EU. Meanwhile our Mikasa here is how much? 20 EU In a bundle...

There is clearly a disparity between WoT and WoWs and their business models.

20 EU In a bundle...

Especially since it was "free" on the NA* and RU**, or 7$ on the SEA.

* pacifier-prize for everyone who took part in the X-mas tree ornament. So you could have yours for the price of a stamp.

** as free bonus in a bundle containing the Kutuzov & Tirpitz, for 80€ (for the two ships).

The bundles started when WoWs went live. They started at that time in WoT too! They never happened before that, as far as I know. (Neither did "limited edition" vehicles)

And WoT players don't like it either. I'm not sure for how long they can keep it up before people stop buying.

It is not we, the forumites, the core gamers, that keep byuing bundles (though a few of us do), it is the masses. Casual gamers, people interested in ships rather than competitive gameplay, etc. who buy bundles. I've seen plenty of players with less than 100 battles sailing aorund in their Tirpitzes. Players whom I have never seen on the forums.

You must take into account that regular forum users are a very small minority and does not represent the playerbase as a whole - rather the opposite. We have way above the average number of battles, and alpha, weekend and beta testers are overrepresented on the forums. We who voice our opinion and distaste for bundles are not the "WoWs players". This is the main reason why many feel that WG doesn't listen to their community. Money is generated through mass sales and we don't belong to the masses. Unfortunately. :(

People want the ships, but are forced to buy the bundles. So they buy regardless that the additional padding is more often than not added at full price. I've given up at this point, and still hasn't bought anything since CBT (disregarding Secret Santa).

I remember another company that used the same strategy ages ago, creating a hostile customer environment with critical content added as DLCs, rushing unfinished games into release (similar to WoWs) and exploited their customers for all that they were worth, That company was EA, and caused hem to suffer in the long run, as I understood it. It would seem that WG is going with this model, at least in the non-RU regions. Meanwhile, unified account seems to be delayed purposely, due to "technical issues".

Additional, news regarding the offers are only posted on the main page, and not in the forums. Probably to not amass negative reputation points on the forum, as well as containing all the criticism in a handful of topics such as these. It wouldn't look good if every time WG added something to the store, negative feedback in the news section happened.
