It's good at eating your real life money.

You should invest somewhere else.

There is a whole topic about the tirpitz on the first page mate.

And yes, its probably the best ship to earn credits, unless you are a total scrub

It was when it was first released.  then they nerfed it a bit and atego makes more than tirpitz currently.

No, no - really bad at making credits...nothing to see here...look, a three-headed monkey!

Kidding. I just don't want 20 Tirpitzes per match. But that will happen regardless.

I was hoping for a good opportunity to purchase the Atlanta..oh well. Did I miss something?

Oh yes haha, i know some of those reviews are so biased its silly, i found looking on here was the best bet. Much more balanced arguments on things here :)  And i know the feelings, im also awaiting socks and boxers as christmas presents hahaha

The Atlanta is a relatively big ship with no armor, relatively big citadel, relatively slow rudder, high shell arc, long shell travel time, high dpm, low range, quite situational.

How on earth did you think it's op?

I on the other hand want it for training my St. Louis and Cleveland Cpt :)

The Tirpitz is a great ship if you know what you are doing with t8 BBs. Fast, good gun rotation, relatively fast traveling shells, good dpm, ok dispersion (imo), good camo values, torpedos, situational armor, good pick for ranked battles.

It was OP during CBT and at the start of OBT. It didn't had this high fire angle, and fire chances were higher.

If you have premium it is the best. Without premium Murmansk or even some non premium ships earn more.

That said, even though i have it and like it, i must say - it wasn't worth those money. Not as fun to play ship and not as credit maker.

Seriously... it never changed. The only nerf I can think of is a loss of speed (it had 30.7 iirc), the rest sounds like tinfoil hat crap.

They even buffed her shell damage (to 11600), and didn't touch the rudder shift time in 0.5.2. Trajectory and fire chance didn't change at all.

edit: Also keep in mind that it sort of is a Cruiser aswell... so if you hate cruisers you probably won't be happy.

Tripitz is good at earning credits, but Murmansk is nearly as good at earning credits and a lot cheaper (also the tier is much more suitable to players who don't have t7+ ships)

WG only nerf according to patch notes... now that is some tinfoil crap as you say...

so you would then say there is no difference between official patch notes and the 'real' ones that are posted on the forums usually after each patch. Ive been playing WG games for several years your naive.

I've been earning around 300k credits (with premium) on considerably average games. The cost of dying is around 100k credits and if you add premium health and repair your looking at 150k credits profit. I earn around the same with Atago but I'm having much more fun in the Tirptiz than I ever did with the Atago.

300k is for really, really bad games. I think its easy to hold around 70-80k avg dmg with Tirpitz.  I have to buy it even when i dont want cause im badly want to train capt for incoming german BBs, but still have 9 days to change my mind.  I dont need that ship for credits i already have more than i can spend. Capt training is only reason to buy Tirpitz for me. :hiding:I'm not sure if its worth 60 €
