Aldramelech Beta Tester 1,753 posts Report post #1 Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) I am very quick to point out when WG have done something wrong, so for a change I'll be a bit positive today Thank you for the new Premium ship camo's, owning nearly every one out so far that's alot of different camo's to look at. You could have easily tried to milk some more cash out of this and didn't, so hats off to you. Some of the new schemes are really nice, some not so hot (Albany is a bit dull) but it's nice to have some new eye candy. Since i am also a fan of complaining loudly and often i want to say wargaming did really well here.

MrFingers Beta Tester, Players, In AlfaTesters 3,242 posts Report post #4 Posted December 23, 2015 It's indeed very nice, and tempting. However... The one of the cleveland is... yeah. Not good. Why this abomination instead of a true historic scheme?

Why this abomination instead of a true historic scheme? Well all the 1000 gold camo's are that dreadful pattern (and i tried so hard to be positive :-( ) Special New Year’s camouflage for the Cleveland, Nürnberg, Gnevny and Minekaze ships will be released as well

Agree, and much prefer the new camo for Warspite and appreciate the 12k credit saving every battle.

[TTP] lowell85 Beta Tester 37 posts Report post #11 Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) Murmask is horrible. Every other ship I own is pretty nice. Esepcially the Warspite and the Imperator. Premium that is. The normal ships are horrible too Tirpitz I prefer before and have switched it to the naked version now. But the new camo isn't too bad. Is it a Tier V and up on elite ships thing? Edit.... found it. I'm going to drop a thousand gold on the Minekaze but not on any others. "Cruisers R Loosers." I think they did a really good job with the prem ship camo's. Shame about the 1000 gold cammo's being so dreadfull but i suspect its not going to be long until we can buy the credit camo's permanently with gold now that the system is in place. Probably not, even in WoT you can buy with creds only temporary camo.

Chr1spy85 Weekend Tester 9 posts 4,301 battles Report post #19 Posted December 23, 2015 Love all the new cammo's on the premium ships I have so far. I was going to say they missed the Albany until double checking it after your post as it doesn't look any different at first glance. Also forgot how beautifull the premium port looks and sounds. (of course I'd love to be able to log into the game also!) Yeah I think they are going the same way as WoT although not sure how they will do the camouflage patterns. I really like pretty much all the camouflages on the ships I have. I like the Russian ones because the are enough to take the standard stock look away without blinding you and your team mates. The Tachibana and Ishizuchi are very nice. Quite like the Albany, I thought the standard camouflage ruined the look of the classic white and brass lines. Of course the 30-50% extra XP boost is very nice, Captain training here we come.
_Zeromancer_ Players 171 posts 1,317 battles Report post #24 Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) I like that they made the original (default) camos for Murmansk and Tirpitz so they now have values and worth using. And specially the default Tirpitz camo (1942) which is my favorite since that's the camo she had when she was stationed close to my home place. anonym_hqO9wrVAEQYQ Players 381 posts Report post #25 Posted December 23, 2015 Great. So the camo gives me 30% more XP. Well I have 150K of XP sitting around at the moment which will cost too much RL money to convert. So giving me 30% more for a camo is pointless. Thanks for nothing guys. I also have various ships elited up as I can't afford or don't want to go much higher anyway. Oh and if you think I am spending RL money to convert vast amounts of XP then you are wrong. I have the Murmansk to earn credit not the XP. As I need the credits more than the XP. Due to the stupidly long grind at higher tiers then by the time I have the credits for another ship i usualy have enough XP anyway. I think Tier 7 is about my cut off point for ships at the moment. So free XP is not worth a great deal to me.
