Hi all,

What crosshair mod are you guys using and why did you chose the one you did?

P.S.

I am using "crosshair by Nappelcommander" - same as stock but wider...

Oh sry, I haven't seen the post earlier!

I use Krab's v3 scope. The direction lines are a huge aid on angled approaching/withdrawing targets :izmena:

So far i didn't really feel the need to have a crossair mod, usually because they fill my screen too much.

Only thing i do find useful is the last position of ships on the minimap and some historical ship skins.

I was using Slimenators until his nametag started going on my nerves.

Found Nappelcommanders crosshair and never looked back.

Same here, tried all the others but Naps is just perfect.

Hi all,

OK... so... there are few of us who do use the "crosshair by Nappelcommander" (i.e. same as stock but wider)...

I m thinking of using Aslain scalable mod...

Shots fired

well...

I'M using a simple crosshair that is the same scale like the original which goes nearly form the left to the right side of the screen with green numbers for better contrast. A very simple mod. I don't want to use the scaleable or the spider web ones. They feel like that you have a huge benefit form them that i don't want to have :/

There are mods that show target speed and that is legal?

I am using the crosshair as well and it does not show the target's speed.

What @Monaural Spider was trying to say (please correct me, if I am wrong) is that the crosshair is helping you a great deal with calculating the speed of the target.

As for whether there are other mods: I honestly do not know that.

Green Lemon Black T from Aslain's modpack.

I tried CrabV3 and it's good but I like the black lines more than white ( though the auxiliary lines on V3 are better! ).

I've been using Hootorez  for a while as it is rather simple. However i find myself jumping back and forth between stock and modded ^^

The first, scalable, crosshair from Aslain's modpack. I'm playing on a QHD (2560x1440) monitor and most (all?) other crosshairs leave about 1/4 of the screen empty on both sides and that's really annoying, especially when playing a Cleveland or Atlanta. Can't remember it's name though, bah :/

Hi all,

Thanks for all replies - much appreciated!

BTW, it appears that crosshair modifications are not used so widely and that most (apparently) use simplistic modifications (myself included)...

I using the Tic-tac from Hootorez. For me it is much better than the Standard variant and the first version from Hootorez.

Sometimes you must adjust the Zoomfactor but that is in every Zoom Mod or standard variant nessecary.

A must for multimonitor 5760x1080.  I use the Kvame configurator to change to more reconizeable colors and tic marks

Hi all,

I use the standard crosshair for aiming and minimap for adjusting when ships are angled. Now I feel underteched :(

The "Nappelcommander" crosshair is just wider version of good old plain standard crosshair!

It is better just because it is wider and that is great help on widescreen monitors...

I think it's included in Aslain's modpack -> http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/12780-mod0524-aslains-wows-modpack-installer-wpicture-preview-v52404-10022016/
