Hello Secession, I was using for a long time your Murmansk skin from this thread http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/35585-murmansk-skin/ and I absolutely love it, its my favourite Murmansk skin. I need to clean up my skins folder a bit, so I wanted to redownload this one, but link is dead. Is there any chance, you could reupload it please? Thank in advance.

Nice skin for the Błyskawica, really appreciate it :)

A little hint about removing camouflage: you will not need to modify camouflage.xml every time, if you remove the "Blue" color of your _mg textures.

My photoshop is in Chinese so I don't know how to describe the methode, but I have some screenshots that might help you...

Secession :

Hey, I edited your Imperator Nikolay I skin to make it black-and-gold, also adding golden double-headed eagles on top of the main turrets. Since the original skin is yours (I only darkened the hull & added the golden eagle), I'm giving you credit and leaving it here. I would like to make a forum page of my own for it, giving you proper credit and linking it to your mod page, with your permission.

Here're a few pics to show how it looks:

And here are the files I edited (only the main and secondary guns and the hull):

First of all I want to thank you for the Blyskawica skin. About Missouri, sorry but you're wrong.

"I tryed to give her a more wooden colored deck - Hey, WG-Art department - so much color photos of Missouri and Iowa form the 1940th in the public - did you studied these sources?"

I guess one photo from 1980 was enough for you to make a "correct and historical" color of Missouri's deck.

You might need to check a little bit further to find about US Navy camouflage paint schemes like the Measure 22 which WG chose as a second camouflage for the Missouri.

The wooden deck wass included in the WW2 scheme as a horizontal surface and it was painted with the color Deck Blue, 20-B.

!!! updated the mods for 0.6.5 !!!

Hello Herwarth,

yes, you can use my mod for your mod.

Hello Sensgt,

I'm aware of this fact. But we and WG design department are not limited to the WW2 camos. The deck blue-gray color scheme should be attached to the changable camo skins and should not be part to the base skin - as current. Compared to other ships - like the Germans, the artwork of the American battle ships (the decks) is ugly! This is maybe related to the fact the American ships are designed first for the game. The newer ships looking better.

update for 0.6.12

To the Murmansk skin

The old version is still available. WG updated the star sign on the ship model. It's now an 3d-object and no texture anymore. So my old skin looks a bit wrong. You are free to uptade it by yourself.

BTW: It's ugly to unpack and update the camouflages.xml everytime!  Please developers, do a single file for every ship! :-)
