Rank 1... now I cant play ranked anymore!?

So I just got rank 1 but now i cant play ranked anymore until next seasons which sucks.

 

I like ranked gameplay especially at 5+ where gameplay is really good so why cant tier rank 1 players still play in ranked battles?

Maybe have a legendary rank like hearthstone with player ranking after you reach rank 1? Shouldnt be hard to implement and it will increase pool of players in the highest bracket so que times will be shorter.

Well I believed in my team mates..in return they gave me a 14 out of 15 game win streak..  ..and if I can in a BB then you can easily!!

 

I think 2 or 3 competent players and some luck can actually make the difference..even if you have some Lemons.

Actualky I quite like the challenge of making a team from what you're dealt. I wouldn't take someone's rank to be very indicative of ability though. Persistence maybe  

 

team games would be nice though. Then we can have forum teams and call each other noobs, and start threads about it in the forum

Since you're given an "extra star" every time you go up, one will eventually move up the ranks due to randomness.

I got detonated twice in ranked today, with cleveland and amagi. My amagi game was going too well to be true I guess (devastating strike on DD) and RNG had to put a stop to that.

Which is why you get anti-detonation flags all over the place. Ranked battles are really the only occasion I do hoist them. Especially on DDs.

Because rank 1 players don't care anymore. They could sabotage others, tk, go afk, lose intentionally,....

I know the feeling. I  managed to get to rank 4 yesterday, was one battle away from rank 3 then it all went boobs up. We all have our off days but it suddenly felt like all my shots missed, did minimal damage, and the mm put 4 tier 8 bb's on the enemy team while we got two, etc etc. Conspiracies, but it sucked hard.

Ha. Well when they eventually open ranked up for divisions to fix the current idiot team issues, feel free to look me up and we can facerolll together ;)

 

At least until they remove divisions to stop them owning a ranked match..

Rank 1 players would still get match making rating so if they loose on purpose they will start meeting low ranked players etc. They would still want to win because they have a visible placing ie. 3rd highest rank 1 player etc. Like I said before im asking about implementing the system in hearthstone and in that game legend rank players dont loose on purpose generally.

 

The main thing though is that I cant play ranked anymore now which is annoying since I like ranked more than random. Probably because the teams are smaller and more equally skilled.

The only thing I dont like is being forced to use a t8 ship from 10 up and being forced to use a t6 from 10 down but its ok. I said "since I don't have a gunboat T7-8 DD but its still way better that Randoms." and I know you can play & but why would I when I can play 8 Fubuki but I would prefer the Mahan or Benson or any of the RU DD's since I am tired of filling the horizon with torps in the hope that at least one or two hit the constantly maneuvering opponents.

Don't listen to his bullsh*t.

 

Opponents might get a T7 DD and get 2 or 3 T8 Battleships while your team gets only 1 or 2 which is not balanced. Or in rarer cases not get a T7 at all.

 

This guy played his underperforming Nagato as he got carried all the way to Rank 1.

Oooo, now i get it. Im not blind anymore. I have to play underpowered ship with bad dmg potential to force MM put in my team better players who can carry game for me. Thats how RB works. Because my 100k+ dmg on Amagi after 33 games is barely enough for 55%. So fastest way on the top is also easiest way, just let MM carry for me.
