Aldramelech Beta Tester 1,753 posts Report post #1 Posted November 29, 2015 So just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water........................... I guess this promotion is what we get for Christmas this year, 4 weeks of overpriced bloated bundles...................... http://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/premshop/premshop-weekly-festive-1/ Mikasa, arguably THE worst ship in the game, but you might want one if like me you are a collector, but at that price? The only good news here is that if you are desperate for Warspite or Tirpitz and don't mind being sold a bunch of stuff you don't want, you will probably get your wish.
IamTroublemaker Beta Tester 2,287 posts 11,047 battles Report post #2 Posted November 29, 2015 Tbh I was hoping for an advent calendar, every day a new offer. This way I gotta wait a week before I can see if the next thing available will actually be worth the money As for Mikasa, well, we cried for it, we got it. I guess painting a stick and mailing it to WG office is as expensive as paying 20€ for it

Vanhal Alpha Tester 5,609 posts 5,569 battles Report post #4 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) It's not even the daily offers, but weekly. Ofc i had no doubt that even the advent calendar would be way worse in WoWs than in WoT, like everything else. They are not only greedy and shameless, they are lazy too. In the meantime, i feel the need to remind, NA players can get the Mikasa for almost free. This way I gotta wait a week before I can see if the next thing available will actually be worth the money Don't worry, it will not be. [TOXIC] painless Weekend Tester 148 posts 7,007 battles Report post #5 Posted November 29, 2015 Well, there is advent garbage calendar for WOT, but i never ever saw anything worth there previous years, except for laughing at BT-SV bundles.. Regarding WOWS "festive" bundles- no thanks, i'll pass, no matter what's inside those. I decided to play free game for free. I used to buy all ships, but i stopped after Torpitz. I wanted Kamikaze/Fujin, Blwhateweritscalled , but not in bundles.

LMN118 Players 243 posts Report post #8 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) It is a shame, I would buy the Mikasa for a reasonable price bearing in mind its tier 2. Looking at the current NA special offers you can buy a Nikolai tier 4 bundle for the same price as the Mikasa. Current bundles on NA: Nikolai I - ship, port slot, 500 doubloons, 3 days of premium £13.30 Nikolai I - ship, port slot, 1000 doubloons, 7 days premium, 60 flags, £16.63 Warspite - ship, port slot, 7 days premium £23.94 Warspite - ship, port slot, 1000 doubloons, 7 days premiums, 90 flags £26.60 (I would also buy this one although I would prefer just the ship) So basically we get a really overpriced bundle (US gets a better, more useful ship at tier 4 for less money) and we also get inflated prices, and less offers. I wonder why I've not even had the energy to log in the last week with the lacklustre events and poor specials. If we had the NA offers I would have been tempted to buy the Nikolai and the Warspite. Just threw more money at Armoured Warfare instead which has some pretty good specials over the weekend. Edited November 29, 2015 by LMN118

For less money than the Mikasa bundle costs I can buy the full Star Wars X-Wing saga (all four titles) on Steam. Four top-notch games, with no strange bugs, without team-killers or potato players. Hard decision to take, eh?

I do not care what they claim... each region decides the deals and events.... not St Petersburg, they deal with RU region..... NA deals with American server and are incompetent monkeys in EU deal with this region. They will blame head office as they are happy with milking the brain dead and ignoring the rest of the EU community. Do what I have started doing... make 1/100 or 1/200 scale RC ships.... Why bother with these lying non community respecting money grabbers anymore.. this is a F2P game... and as off now that is all it is for me.

IamTroublemaker Beta Tester 2,287 posts 11,047 battles Report post #13 Posted November 29, 2015 The staff responsible for the EU? Total incompetent dimwits... Not really, its quite the opposite. They gave us little choice of premium content, so whenever something new comes they can put a higher price on it and people will buy it, because everyone wants something new. It's quite a smart way to drain money out of your customers, the "only" negative side is that they are losing players due to that. Way to go WG

We always seem to be hoping for the next special in the next few months...always being advised to look ahead for some exciting stuff, and each time it arrives it's underwhelming crap. Not sure who is deciding on behalf of EU but they deserve nothing short of being fired.......I get the impression there is nothing much exciting happening in all things WoWs....I hope it's not a bad sign for the future.

I think it is safe to say EUs marketing departmant is full of lazy morons who aren't doing anything. Those pople should be fired on a spot it has been a long time since the fail that was the release event and only thing we got were overpriced budndles and more fail events. It's getting really frustrating if only ship in shop is turd and even that turd is in overpriced bundle. If you at least had an alternative. Look NA gets Mikasa almost for free if you make some cheap tat and hang iton a tree and EU gets it as a WEEKLY EXCLUSIVE FOR 20€ meaning you have to wait a week before those idiots will decide to update it (which will take much longer than it should and never be anounced because WG EU CM) with something worth while for normal price... I'm out of words and now to be honest I feel deep hate for those people and hope thei get fired. Edited November 29, 2015 by WWladCZ

Also looking forward to Battlefleet Gothic, used to play the board version of it. My brother and I bought collectors edition for AW, expensive but not a bad deal considering the content, 5 premium tanks plus enough gold to buy more. Also bought the Zhalo S merc which is awesome. All money that was earmarked for WoWS. GOG has a warhammer sale on at the moment if you are looking for 40K classics.
