[HORN] Wolfenbane Players 374 posts Report post #6 Posted November 29, 2015 I have to agree,i thought it was my computer, glad it's not.It doesn't happen in every game but it's there frequently if you play for an hour or so.

[HORN] Wolfenbane Players 374 posts Report post #8 Posted November 29, 2015 Okay this is getting quite annoying now.I've paid for a weeks premium which i intend to extend come payday. No chance of that if it isn't rectified soon.I'll try the game on low settings but it seems as if it's the server trying to catch up at times.I find the game a bit more immersive than WOT and battles seem to last longer but the game is a pain at the moment. Will try removing mods and see if that helps but others are running same mod pack and similar set up so reckon it is server side. Eternus_Damnatio Players 866 posts 8,891 battles Report post #13 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) It is making the game almost unplayable I spot a DD for example and the ship on screen will be sat there as though at dead stop then a few seconds later it will jump to where it actually is. My fps and ping remain constant throughout and my ship fires and turns as normal it is dam frustrating. Very odd but this is a monthly process for me... I do not even get ping drop so don't think it is that going to uninstall the game and re dl and install. Maybe it is a corrupted file somewhere fingers crossed this fixes it. If not I think I will defo be buying fallout 4 and won't be back in wows until they fix this and stop ripping us off with the bundle or nothing nonsense. Played game today at different times and it's been Ok. but tonight - crap. not seen this before. I suspect internet, ISP [VM], or server [lag]. I'm sure it's not my PC, as all worked well earlier [rebooted]. See how things are tomorrow - off to bed.

Eternus_Damnatio Players 866 posts 8,891 battles Report post #18 Posted December 1, 2015 Sounds weird but a pc blue screen cured the issue. I had just re installed the game ran a test battle still had same problem. Closed the game re installed my mod pack might as well seeing as it wasn't causing the issue. On loading back up the game crashed and as usual for me when this game crashes I got a blue screen pc crash a few minutes later. Oddly enough when I started up the game again no more stutter. Fingers crossed it doesn't come back.

[DECOM] Seikin Beta Tester 193 posts 7,926 battles Report post #20 Posted December 1, 2015 I was getting awful stuttering last night. Been absolutely fine before then. For me, it was packet-loss (shown by the little red cross appearing next to my ping when it happens).. fps is a steady 58, ping a steady 50-60, put every 2-3 seconds, awful packet-loss and stuttering. Did a little digging around and found a database I'd installed a few weeks back (postgresql) causing spikes of network activity every few seconds. If course, I didn't re-try it after turning that off - Once I was annoyed enough to stop playing the game in the first place, I was too annoyed to go back to it! But if others were having problems at the same time.... maybe it wasn't that. btw, on VM here, too.
Eternus_Damnatio Players 866 posts 8,891 battles Report post #21 Posted December 1, 2015 Well the stutter came back no idea what the cause is. Never had any issues before last couple of patches. Last game i just played my ship was "stuck" in open water for close to 1min 3 times on my screen, funny thing was that i managed to kill last enemy ship with my secondary guns while i was "stuck"... I still get those messages if my ship is burning or if i am getting hit and chat is working just fine when im "stuck" Right now this game is unplayable for me
[HORN] Wolfenbane Players 374 posts Report post #23 Posted December 2, 2015 It could be a ping problem,i've started some games no problem, then you get the odd time when there's late comers entering and all of a sudden your game has gone to hell.A quit to desktop and then restart the game solves the problem.Trouble is,your team is usually mopping up or you yourself are just about to be mopped up.Now when it happens ingame,i just head for the enemy to die and load another battle up. Phroco Beta Tester 78 posts 5,771 battles Report post #24 Posted December 2, 2015 There was definitely an issue with WGs network last night as I was getting 5-10% packet loss accessing the servers. It wasn't happening on all routes which is why everyone wasn't bitching about it but it was for sure in either WGs network or their hosting provider as the packet loss was occurring one hop away from the game server itself.
