there is a clear lack of Soviet cruisers - Tallinn cruiser (initially Petropavlovsk) - a Soviet heavy cruiser of the German type Admiral Hipper from World War II, ex Lützow.

The keel was laid on August 2, 1937 at the Deutsche Schiff- und Maschinenbau shipyard in Bremen, where it was launched on July 1, 1939 with the name "Lützow". On April 15, 1940, the Third Reich sold the hull of the USSR ship on the basis of the Soviet-German trade agreement of February 11, 1940 on mutual friendship war and cooperation between the German (Nazi) and Soviet in WWII.

In May 1940, the ship reached Leningrad.

In September 1941, the ship, under the name "Petropavlovsk" (Petropavlovsk), took part in the defense of Leningrad, and on September 17 sank after suffering severe damage as a result of German artillery fire. Despite the damage, the ship was excavated, repaired and in December 1942 returned to service, taking part in the fight until the end of the siege of Leningrad in 1944. On September 1, 1944, the name of the cruiser changed, which from then on was called "Tallinn" (Таллин). After the war, "Tallinn" served as a stationary training ship, and from the 1950s as a floating barracks. In 1956 he was finally decommissioned, and in 1960 cut into scrap
