As if the Simms was not useless enough as it is you here have a better gun boat by far with better torpedoes, as opposed to a tier 5 DD gun boat with long range torpedoes that a tier 3 would laugh at. Hey dont insult my hard earned Kiev ....grinding is the part of the fun because yo need to EARN the ship you want...Blyskawica is not much better than any t7 DD specially not better than Kiev... And like others said, I would maybe even buy it (to support devs or for teh sake of variety) but again, in a bundle? I can always use the dubloons and seven days of premium doesn't bother me. I'd say to those that want the ship but dislike bundles - WG are far more likely to pay attention to the minimalist bundle selling better than the expensive one than they are to people complaining on the forum. The cheap bundle massively outselling the expensive one gives them some stats to get their teeth into, and we all know WG doesn't change anything until they've consulted the stats... A small step forward. Two bundles. I expect they will look at this with interest in terms of profitability. At least there is an option now. He's probably basing that statement about reality, The size and impact of the Polish navy in WW2. He forgot he's dealing with WG, If they could resurrect the famed Soviet navy(That most of it's naval crewmen actually served as infantrymen because there were no ships) they could do anything to cater to their majority fanbases. Well we shouldn't be surprised if they manage to pull a Polish navy off since they've all but announced a Chinese one.. Also as I said it does less damage than most tier 3s and has a sub 45% global WR, a Simms on your team is like having a bot on your team, it's that bad. As far as I can tell the Simms over the Nicholas, 700 more HP, worse surface detectability, same guns, same number of guns, same torpedoes with slower ROF, 2km more range, 1.6 knots extra speed. So is 700 more HP, a little more ROF, 2km more range and 1.6 knots really worth a jump in two tiers/ I split the discusion into two parts. First Sims vs Nicholas. You forgot that the Nicholas had a big nerf in 0.5.1 so it has only the slow torpedoes. It has 5 seconds slower turret rotation speed. Has a ROF 5 lower as the Sims. With upgrade the Sims has 0.6 s lower Rudder craptime and a turning circle radius 100 M larger. So with ALL the stats the Sims deserves a jump of two Tiers. Even without the rule that a premium vessel should be less strong as it's tech tree counter part. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Trouble is unless the battle is literally point blank you won't hit anything because the shell travel speed on the Simms is too slow, hunting DDs is all it has and it's not not very good at that. Against anything else the Blyss is much much better. The Blys is just a way better tier 7 DD. The Blys with commanderskill has a turret rotation of 14,4 seconds. The Sims has a turret rotation of 5.3 sec. So the Blys has a far worse rotation speed. It is not as bad as the IJN DD's but you can play it to your advantage. Compared with a far better rudder shift time (and being a smaller target it can beat a Blys. Don't forget a Sims has a DPM of 144.000. The Blys "only" 109.480. I agree with you that the Blys is a better tier 7 DD. But one on one , I think the Sims will win. This is because she can forfill multiple roles in a batle, where the sims is mainly an ambusher. Well, there is stll British Navy to be added, to complete the German Navy, to invent the rest of the Russian Navy... Polish Navy...hmmm... Most Polish players are concentrated on WoT, not WoWs. If WG wants to invent another Navy except the Russian one, I m betting on the Chinese Navy, because it s a huge potential market. Even if there are some Polish players on EU that would like to play the Polish ships, I think for the other servers (RU, NA, SEA) the Polish Navy would not be very attractive. Russian player base was always very important for WG, so that s why they invented Russian/Soviet Navy.
