Its really fun at T4  ( even had fun in a T6 match )

 

you can bounce nearly all german shells at T4 ( pling pling pling  )

 

nice broadside, nice turret layout ( 3 rotate over the front 1 over the back )

and AP packs a real punch

This is my second game. The first game was largely T6 and it struggled badly. Second game was largely T4 with a couple of 5's and as you can see a Furytaco found out pretty quickly that it's quite dangerous at short range.

 

It's going to be a difficult ship to love however, It's slow, it wallows like a pig, it's turret turn time is glacial, AA is poor to non exsistant and it's reload is nothing special. It does however outrange the Ishizuki, it has monster secondary's (although I've not seen them work yet) and as you can see it's AP is quite effective against cruisers.

 

It is a fairly typical T4 BB. Overall I prefer the Ishizuki.

I really believe that selling it for £8/£10 would help to sell more of them. They would make more than selling the bundle to less people surely.

WoT and WoW i've tended to readily engage with premium tanks/ships, a lot of them are pretty cool, and i've enjoyed playing. BUT-these were on their own, i'm not interested in the rest of the crap. I just want the ship on its own- then i'll gladly throw money at it.

 

I don't want some artificially inflated bundle with a bunch of flags and in-game currency i don't need. 

 

I don't understand why common sense isn't used- Allow for both Bundles and just the ship- release at the same time and watch the money roll in from a happy player-base who have the option to get the store item that fits their needs. You'll make a lot more money this way as those holding off due to the bundles (like myself) would jump at the chance to get it on its own.

 

Also though there's that other downright disgusting practice of only seemingly doing this to the EU server...and what's more of inflating the prices for the EU server... Its very bad practice, and something that should be looked into to. It contributes to i feel the growing feeling of annoyance at War-gaming. Which is a shame, i actually do love World of Warships but the bundle practice and to an extent their unequal and strange treatment of different regions is putting me off from putting as much money into the game as i otherwise would.

 

The final thought- all of this is further confounded by the lack of any semblance of response from the EU community team or the company. I mean seriously, i've been perusing this forum since i really started playing WoWs and there seems to be so little help and engagement to issues raised such as the above, which i've seen raised time and time again. Its the pinnacle of a poor customer experience thus far.

I am looking forward for the ship too. When it's offered by herself without anything else tho. So i'll just wait for it to happen.

I am sure WG has their own reasons for doing bundles instead of lower price offerings with only the ship, they are a business and they are here for the money. And i don't think they make such decisions without having done a deep analysis on what is going to be more convenient for them.

To be completely fair to the EU team, they have told us that they have passed this feedback on, Ectar himself in a recent thread assured us of this. The problem is not with EU it's with Minsk. The problem is that we have no way of directly communicating with HQ and although they are being told maybe they are not getting the full strength of feeling, however maybe they just don't care.

 

I advocate choice, I really believe that both options should be offered, given a choice I would buy the ship only, what will be interesting here is if the shop offers it by itself once the offer is over or if it will disappear like Warspite and Tirpitz, if that is the case then I think it will be time to get the pitchforks out.

 

Ectar: Can we get some info on whether this will be a regular in the shop after the offer or if will be appearing in the game for doubloons?

I wouldnt mind paying an extra 5 or so euros to get a nice premium ship. But looking at this tier 4, with an extra 5200ish gold and 200 flags the price bloats up to almost 300%. You can pick up 5500 doubloons for 19,99, an Ishizuchi for 11. That probalby still means that in this bundle, you get the 200 flags for free but..... NOBODY CARE ABOUT FLAGS. Its like driving around with gold consumables in a game that has no clan wars or other competitive game modes. 

 

I dont see how this bundle redeems itself for being so darn pricey.

Seriously, I had hope. It's russian, it's a tier 4, it was a bad battleship... I thought it would come for 15€ max. 

 

Just, I have no more hopes. I think about quiting right now. Why must it be always like this? Just, mods are promising us different offers and else... But no, we're condamned to those. That sadden me to a point you wouldn't understand. 

 

I made up my mind. I only bought stuff once for this game, that was a gift for my lil brother. (Sims for Beta access). 
Never bought anything else since. I'm willing to; but for a fair price. So I never ever had the occasion to spend money. So I threw  it in other games. 

 

I was looking foward to Tone. But now I know, it will be a bundle. 120% sure. So I'm not looking foward anything in this Focking] store.

AND THAT IS NOT WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN. A shop must make custommers want to look at it, but when I go in the said store, IT MAKES ME CRY!!

Dont get me wrong, but I am always wondering about that strong believe in decisions made by companys. They are still human beeings, that tend to do mistakes and just because they are running a buisness and have been very successful with that, does not mean all of their decisions are good or are leading in a healty direction for the company. Take a look on the market. There are always even big companys failing hard sometimes.

This bundle thing is hardly bothering me anymore. The last months I would have loved to spend something to get a new toy to play with. And like a lot of you, I ended up beeing frustrated of those bundle "offers". But I just came to the conclusion that nobody forces me to buy anything and I can spend my money somewhere else, where I get the feeling I am getting more value for it or I am not forced to buy more than what I want.

For me the bundles are not working. I would have bought some stand alone ships for sure, maybe some lower tier ships even as presents for friends, but instead I didnt spend anything. I somehow got tired of raging about those bundles or that there still is no unification of gold throughout the accounts ( yes I know, it is comming, but not in the near future and yet we still dont get to hear a reason for that). I will play the game as long as I am having fun with it and spend my money on other games and if I will get bored by the ships I got, I will move on to other games. And all this raging in the forum is partly due to the fact of the communication, that is sometimes not even existing. ( no offence here, the guys we get to hear from, from time to time are the messengers). And WG, if you need someone to take care of the EU marketing and communication. Just send me a good offer ;)

No I don't, I have gold in WoT and am waiting for the promised account unification so I am no longer forced to buy overpriced bundles. I buy my premium time with my gold in WoT, I don't need doubloons for that atm. 

 

Sorry to burst your bubble, but some of us actually can't be lured into a trap where the bundle is actually 'ok'. We already concluded the bundle is not bad bang for buck, it's just; we don't want the bundles, we don't need them.

there are diffrent reasons for the complaints here. Some bought bundles, when WG promissed to have a unified account, so they could use the gold( dubloons) in the other WG-titles, whitch was giving the gold a higher value. Now some are sitting on their gold without a use in Wows. And those that already invested some money on those bundles are sitting on their dubloons because they are not having reasonable options to use them in game.

I have a lot of Gold in WoTs and consdidering the accounts are going to be unified, i don't need more in WoW...specifically as there's currently very little to spend it on tech-tree wise. 

 

Your also missing out on a very integral point- that of relative cost. I'll by Doubloon packages every few months on their own...but as most people are paid monthly/on a salary, you then can't afford to fork out massive amounts of money relatively in one go- so in another month, i'll buy a ship or so. 

 

Adding them together like here (which is absolutely ridiculous too in terms of the price inflating) means that budget wise, i literally can't stretch, even if i'd like to. The ship on its own the other hand this month, i'd be able to, and then next month if needed perhaps get the doubloons.

If that's the case, then i have some sympathy with the EU team, but they really need to make sure these points are hammered home. Its something i've seen again and again on these forums, as well as many of the unofficial Wargaming forum groups and reddit/youtube. 

And agreed- i'm not advocating getting rid of bundles, but offering like nearly every other company does- the choice to get the product in a different setting (on its own), in typical business practice this actually maxamizes sales as your then getting in the people who can't or wouldn't otherwise buy the product- There's literally no downside.

Agreed- If its not offered on its own later, then they'll be major issues!

It's been said before but you can purchase a new game for around £39. for that a company has developed a whole game!

 

This is just to have an extra ship! (Plus prem blah blah blah)

 

It's unbelievable that they sell these bundles in there thousands!
