Fail if you need to add tier 6 players in tier 8 games and make tier 8 weak for them. I hear a lot of frustration from players about where this game is sailing to. The same like WoWp. Decrease of amount player is the proof of i'm right. And what WG is doing?? Implementing useless voice messages which are turned off since many players spamming with those ... WG never learn. A tier 8 cruiser is better than a tier 6 (no one mention Cleveland pls). But it a battleship has big guns. They are very good at squishing cruisers in particular. Cruisers kill destroyers and othe cruisers. Thats the point of the game. It's balanced very well. WoWp is more succesfull than any games you can make WoWs player base is increasing we are in "school" time which means the numbers should be going down a lot but instead they are going up Something isnt right thats true. But this isn't mean is balanced well .. Before proving Dunning-Kruger any more than you already have I would suggest you withdraw from this thread. The game is balanced. It's working as designed. You may not like the design (or maybe not even understand it) but it's not going to change. Part of the beautiful of wows is that a tier 6 can still do its job in tier 8 games. Tier 6 bbs are - correctly - still dangerous to tier 8 cruisers. this is also historically accurate. An old battleship is still dangerous. In fact convoys were protected in WW2 by old battleships to keep surface raiders away. But it sounds like you don't understand or know about naval history either - which the game is based on. Please look up the firepower of a tier 6 BB and considering both the Fuso and New Mexico are very good BB's you were indeed lucky 1 salvo did not finish you. Shall we look at your statistics for your sole tier 8 cruiser, the Mogami. Although you have been fortunate to be in the winning team 7 times out of 10 you have only survived twice. Said rule is "dont sail in a straight line" which in this case means "dont sail broadsides to a BB or your gaming experience may be short". You can read that up in most beginners guides. When will people notice that this is not world of tanks, the teir difference in this game does not make you impervious to all damage like it can With 2 to 3 tiers difference in wot. This its its own game. And here in world of warships teirs have far less of an impact on who will come out on top. A battleships main battery should and does wreck anything other than another battleships. It's simply gun size vs weak armour so any Bb will do large damage if it's hits a cruiser in the correct way regardless of tier.
