WatchdogCZ Players 173 posts 669 battles Report post #26 Posted October 7, 2015 Thats great to hear, same goes for ScratxNeco. No, realy, that are propably the best "+1" I have spent this week. Anyway, what some of you may miss is the simple fact that basicaly all "XYZ OP" Threads get destroyed by the usual guys that always denie the OP their own oppinion because they dont fit in a certain category, like having a Winrate of X% or getting to tier Y or having Z avg xp. The point is, these complaints of those threads are viable, because 99% of the time these people saw what one of the "pros" did in his little "fun ship". But noooo, the "big guys" dont want to have their toys removed.... Again, why should I feel sympathy for people like this? FYI, I played 3 games during the ongoing conversation in this thread, after these 3 games, I saw the following: 2 Kawachi, both players combined had less than 100 games in total. 14 IJN DD, despite ending up in tier 6 and 7 matches, Minekaze was top tier DD I saw. Out of these 14 only 2 players had less than 100 battles in total, while 7 had over 100 games just in their Iso- and Minekaze. And yes, I do understand that hunting down noobs is "fun" and "relaxing", but do not complain about "DD OP" or "Torp OP" Threads when crap like this is going on. Especialy when you are supporting this. If you get matched against a Minekaze, you are not supposed to be a "noob". If you are Tier 5 with 100 battles combined, I dare say something is not right and you have been rushing the Tiers too fast.
[LAI] Nagine Beta Tester 680 posts 3,140 battles Report post #27 Posted October 7, 2015 I stand to what I said. And since all the experienced players realy dont play stuff like the Albany or Kawachi and prefer playing in stuff like the Umikaze, Wakatake or Isokaze I doubt my point of view will change. No, realy, what is a St. Louis or Isokaze with hundreds of games trying to accomplish? It is trying to have a good time by slaying newbs. Most likely with a >3 skill commander, premium consumables etc. The last thing I saw from guys like this is trying to "teach" something. EDIT: Oh, and yes, I speak from experience. EDIT TWO: Right now I had a guy in my match with over 1k games, in a Minekaze with over 100 games in this ship. What is someone like this trying to teach everyone? That a 5 Skill Minekaze is invisible? The Answer is: Nothing. He is just trying to increase his "stats", wich are sooooo important in this game (and this forum, realy, half the threads resolve around this stuff) by farming himself some newbies. Why should I feel sympathy for someone like this? Although your previous statement evoked quite a stir, respect that you are at least trying to give arguments to your opinion. Nevertheless, I see you agree that playing in Minekaze can also be sealclubing, so we are talking not only about the lowest of tiers. And considering that WG protects total noobs by giving them separate mm for a while, the whole concept of "sealclubing" is pointless. Even in tier 2 experienced players play versus mostly experienced players. Lastly, Tachibana is very fun ship, but Umikazes or Sampsons objectively are clearly better. So saying that someone is sealclubing in Tachibana is the same as saying "sealclubing in Albany". There sheer sound of the latter sentence makes me laugh
[ST-EU] Admiral_noodle Supertest Coordinator 6,337 posts 4,395 battles Report post #28 Posted October 7, 2015 Ok I have ships tier III to VIII. I play every tier. I don't play tier 1-2 because those ships are awful mostly.Tier III I play St. Louis and Aurora (the latter being much worse). I don't have premium anything on them and the captain of the St. Louis is not high skilled (my skilled captain is in my New Orleans)You may consider my playing St. Louis seal clubbing, but I like that ship, I paid for the aurora and I have premium. I intend to play everything in this game. I like variety. That why I bought into the game.I do actually try to help ou people who are obviously new. Like telling friendly cruisers not to turn side on to bbs. Telling bbs to close or retreat and telling dds when they are going too fast out of their own smoke. It's a team game after all. P.s. I don't think WG has split MM for wows?

Especialy when you are supporting this. You are missing the fact that the system was designed with veteran players visiting lower tiers in order to keep them populated - it's incorporated in the game by moneymaking potential through tiers. Everybody and their mother (who didn't have a t8 premium or something like that) had a KV in WoT with bunch of battles in it. Not for clubbing seals, but for grinding. And yes, those tanks had good crew, good wr, equipment etc. because that made them more suitable for their purpose AND it was only natural, as you tend to have a quality crew in a tank that has like 500 battles of "mileage". [ST-EU] OldGrandad Supertester 3,404 posts 35,711 battles Report post #31 Posted October 7, 2015 WoT You seem to have a great understanding of the game and I mean that when I see your forum name. Last time I responded I did not look up any statistics but since then I did, you only have 98 battles against your name yet you criticised the OP with 200. Both inexperienced with those numbers to take into consideration? In the future maybe experience will be taken into consideration to form battles but until then it is free to roam as you will. Akula971 Beta Tester 1,059 posts 14,810 battles Report post #32 Posted October 7, 2015 Well I have quite a few premium ships, and have not to date, had anyone team damage me. OP was just unlucky. As to playing low tier ships. I have a Tachibana, Auroa, and an Albany. The IJN DD uses my 16 skills IJN captain. The rest 14-15 skills. I play this game for fun. Period. Lots of fun, to enjoy myself, to relax, to have a laugh. And I'll continue to play the ships I enjoy, regardless of any smug self rightous bugger telling me I'm "seal clubbing" (which I am not as I'm decidely average). This stupid pathetic grind to get to boring, credit expensive tier 10 ships is nonesense. Congratulations! you've made it to T10. No party, no funfare, no cake. Just endless hours, and playground bragging rights. The tachibana is one of the most fun ships in my harbour. Just like in WoT, the most fun, and least expensive, in terms of in game costs, is T2-T5. And Dear Wischmob_von_Eimer, I do consider myself experienced, and I do play my Albany, not everyday, but often enough.
Drycon Players 245 posts Report post #33 Posted October 8, 2015 Haven't seen much hate for premium ships in game, I guess that's bad luck on your part, meeting all the asshats at once. Sometimes I do see hateful remarks but that's mostly after a premium ship sunk a non-premium. Like it's said before, haters are gonna hate, don't let them get to you! Tigger3 Players 158 posts 1,580 battles Report post #36 Posted October 9, 2015 Never seen any abuse when I have been in my Tachibana, pretty much all the abuse I have seen is people moaning about being on the losing side with general "fail team" rubbish and once when a Cruiser was moaning at me for not going to his aid against another Cruiser while I was taking on a Carrier and then a Battleship sinking both in my Destroyer but falling to the guns of a couple of other Cruisers.
