Like bro, man. Dude, that some sick replays, dude man :)

 

I wonder if it's a requirement to talk like that to run a "let's play". Other than that, looking good.

 

EDIT: The SN T10 DD could fire outside spotting range. And if it's faster than all other ships around, then it can easily kite everything. We will probably see if it's that bad when they hit the live server, but seems to me that they can easily be too strong.

 

EDITx2: T10 SN DD:

-16 km torps in 2x5 launcher

-Surface detection range 8 km

-Gun range 15 km with roughly 3-4 seconds reload.

-Speed 42 knots

 

Since shooting adds 4 km to a DD (unless special rules for these), then the T10 has 3 km invulnerability zone. Even if it's spotted at those ranges, it is almost impossible to hit it. And 42 knots means that you can kite all day. And we're not even talking about smoke here. t's just like watching a Cleveland. GG WG, seems like they finally made a DD competitive, lol

 I was just about to post something along these lines:) Then I thought to myself "maybe I'm just being a mad grandpa for no reason"... and then I see your post:) Ok, maybe there's some merit in my sentiment after all:)

As I loaded the stream the guy used "plebs" in a sentence in a completely regular, non-satire manner:)

I'm fairly young myself, but I dislike those useless filler words (man, like, bro, crap) because they add nothing and is just annoying to listen to. But this is a taste preference.

The above info I posted was without gun range mod. With it, it goes to 18km range. :sceptic:

 

I just got sick (nauseated) by seeing how OP that thing was, and thinking that there is a professional game studio that's going to release these soon. I will lose a bit more hope in the game if these hit the real game unchanged.

Russian bias is a trademark of WG. Wait till they introduce battleships; gradually they will decrease the citadel size because "reasons". Oh, and add extra armour where the sailors have fastened used vodka bottles to the hull:D.

Just told him, the range is either 6 km or 10 (?) km, depending on the module.

Well, I am in my thirties, not exactly old either lol, but then again, I wasn't put off by the presence of slang and fillers, but by their "vibe", if that makes sense:) I actually value a good imaginative slang, street talk, lingo, quality curses etc. a lot:)

 

I mean, "don't argue with plebs", come on, "plebs"? I was expecting him to yell "git rekt boiiiii" in a completely serious manner next:)

I mean, I am being extremely subjective and childish, I know, but hey, no one's getting hurt:)

Inb4 conspiracy as WG releases OP things so some people with moneyz can enjoy them before they get nerfed.

The German T10 CA seemed balanced enough (well, from what we saw), so Russian bias is safely confirmed

I thought it looked rather weak: next to no AA and poor HE damage didn't seem to make up for the mobility and range. On the other hand, he didn't do much so my observations may be flawed. The AA will be a pain though, as tier 10 carriers will pretty much  either ignore you and target the ally you are escorting or just go for you directly (which, given the usual CV behaviour, will probably happen most of the time).

You don't see the replay banner at the top? :unsure: I don't know, maybe because I have a twitch account. Sorry, thought that replay link could be seen to everyone.

I played them today too. WG Booth at GameCity Vienna, they got both line sfully unlocked on the Booth Accounts :) German ships are rather nice, Russians will most likely be rebalanced, they are way better than IJN or US ships.

The Khabarovsk has a base firing range of 13km. If you fit Gun Fire Control Modification 2, range increase to 15.1. Obviously you can also eventually get the advance firing training Commander skill which adds another 2.6km.

 

I've been testing it on the live server today without the Commander skill. Obviously in actual battles you do get detected a lot by enemy DDs and aircraft. The top speed of 43.4 knots does get you out of trouble, but remember you are not going top speed all the time. I found I was getting hit quite a lot and in one battle lost two turrets but not much HP quite quickly.

Just come back from watching iChase play this 'little' terror.

In one battle he sent several battleships running by setting them all on fire at the same time. And it wasn't as if they were poor players, at least one of them is one of the better BB players on the NA server. There is no doubt that the Khabarovsk can function with it's long range, fast shell speed and high rate of fire. The stealthgunning is stronk in it. He was quite glib the entire time about the notion that it couldn't be done, and honestly, rightfully so.

He also went and did it in a ranked battle just to show that it can be done there too.

However, this isn't something that is either that easy, nor that fun. Well, it is fun to see battleships scramble to get out of the way or blindfire at where they think you are, but hitting enemy ships 300 times in a battle is bound to be a little boring.
