Well, yes, the MM has big problems in times when there are very few players online. It works quite good during the afternoon and evening.

yep MM is still failed even not morning , when i played iowa i get vs 3x t10 bbs , and we get none , also midway vs taiho, and it was afternoon

MM has nothing to do with this. At the tiers where people actually play MM is better with every fix.

 

Ask them to change the economy so more players play high tiers. Problem solved.

Oh, and some actual endgame.

And more players overall.

Those are the problems, not MM itself.

there is loads of problems at the moment I have been on since 7 this morning hey no life lols but it meens I see a lot of games and since last patch there is a problem 5 or 6 games this afternoon I have played a team with higher tier cv one game was lexi v medway also and I know use will be ahhh not one of these again but at the moment bb is op so everybody is using them rip pooor crusier constantly its all bb maybe two three crusiers oh n if your lucky one team might have a dd or loads agents 1 or 2 this is driving me crazy its like gambling no consistency and it was not just morning all day I don't want nerfs but some balance and a good mm would be nice

i dont see a problem with MM, its actually alot better than it was before, but it only works if there was enough players online, and that WG cant fix, you just have to play during day hours

I have been on all day and bout to go back just wanted to see if anybody else had noticed what I had all I use is t10 four I have and I can say mm aint working but hey maybe need to play more than 10 hours maybe work on the 11th o7

The MM is fine, the problem is the extrem high tier economy. I've accepted I will never go beyond tier 8 because I'm not willing to pay a lot of money per month to survive there. Not even sure I will go for tier 8 ships, because I don't want to be a XP pinata for the few players actually reaching tier 10. 

If it would be slightly easier to get there and survive there XP and money wise, more people would play these tiers and the matchmaking would be better.

That's the price you pay for rushing to the high tiers: not enough players.

I understand fully trust me but id played three games all different t10 cv captains then boom their ten oh whats that a lexi nice and yet again a different t10 captain so 4 t10 captains playing 4 oclock in the afternoon but the mm puts in a lexi and who was he up agenst pape nice but yeah it is very expensive I don't make much but I survive .... sometimes lols

lols I thank you but I grinded hard for my t10s well over 2000 games . all I think is if there isn't two t 10 cv then they should need to wait till there is one and I meen haven't you seen how many bbs are on the sea at the moment yet use say mm is working that's the mm job to wait and even these things out never been on the side with the only dd there is a weee prob I love this game play every day and I'm only saying because ive noticed but might do as u say play lower tier stop paying for prem and be a happy sailor ta

Did they also do some "improving" with ranked battles MM? I played with a tier VI CV today and 10 times out of 15 I was put against higher tier CV.

 

Why the is there a "Maximum waiting time for ranked battles is not limited" message, if I'm not allowed wait for balanced game?

but... you can subtract 1 tier on every ship on the other team and then it's pretty balanced!

Well, thankfully it was only that one battle. Mostly I think the MM is pretty good. I mean most battles there are one or two guys who can be considered unfortunate, but overall I don't find the MM terrible. Crap will happen, and in this case I took it in good grace (in fact everyone who spoke up did so with jokes and great laughs, good atmosphere in that battle) and even survived without running off into the corner. In fact I was in the process of a deathride towards two Yamatos and the Mogami. I actually had fun, but I suppose it was fun exactly because it is a rare thing, and so I would prefer to not have this crap again. I doubt there would have been many laughs had it been the fifth time that day.

When WG fixes the economy for high tier ships you might see more of a regular MM at tier 9,10. Untill than most of the people will stick  to tier 8 where you can brake even. on normal games(on non premium accounts).

Repair costs are just too big for tier 9 and 10 ships. Nobody wants to die.

What these examples indicate to me is that the MM does not cope well with high tier divisions. I think they should be forced to wait in the queue until they can be matched.

Hey, it doesn't cope well even with lower tier divisions.

In past few days half of the matches have had notable mismatches in some area like BBs.
