[THESO] Kenjiro_ [THESO] Players 991 posts 12,433 battles Report post #1 Posted September 26, 2015 Well there is probably similar topics around but too angry right now to look up... Why there is no punishment to teamkilling in this game? Some idiot puts 3 torpedoes from almost point blank range while I think we were sailing in formation. Not once not twice, people is way too careless with their torpedoes because there is no punishment for it. Somebody please explain the reason behind this? I can understand a runaway bullet or shell during the heat of battle. But torpedoeing your teammate? On purpose? Get away with it? Sorry no. It's not for me... Being evil or this stupid should not be allowed for the sake of good honest players....

So far i have taken friendly torps a dozen of times and only one it was on purpose. I took them all, sunk and moved on like nothing happened. I know it sucks but in every multiplayer game there gonna be that guy that try to ruin the game for his team.
Realtbhuion Beta Tester 152 posts 2,121 battles Report post #5 Posted September 26, 2015 (edited) teamkilling will EVENTUALLY get people's accounts suspended. it just takes ages for it to happen, given that it's perfectly possible for someone to sail along without paying attention and drive right into the landing point of someone else's barrage and get citadel'd and go boom and so on. they have to try to balance accidents with intentional tk's. i don't think they've handled it pretty well, a simple repetition counter should be able to differentiate between accidental and intentional quite easily, and would allow for earlier punishment of intentional teamkilling, but i do understand why, given wg's difficulty with things like common sense, the system seems to be overly tolerant. nonetheless, there actually is a system for punishing tk'ers. But if you want battles to be totally free of Tk - then I suggest you go and do some real life roleplaying or sommin. You won't find it in an online game. You won't find it in an online game. The problem is, there are more teamkillers and other griefers in WoWs than in any other F2p game, which is quite obvious because Wargaming is right now the number 1 F2P game designer in EU. Teamkilling in WoWs is so freaking easy and you won't get punished for it because WG wants more players in WoWs, teamkillers or not.

And clearly these guys have allready given up on getting anywhere in the game, so it will not mean much to them to start over and over again.

Team damage is not allowed, not against pink players and not to defend yourself. Take it like a man, screenshot/send replay to support and ask for a ban ( MrConwway posted blatant team killers will get banned by support if you open a ticket.. ). In any case, do not shoot allies, not even if they are pink. Maybe someday the mechanic will change so it's like in WoT where you can safely kill team killers without penalty, but currently this is how it works.
AmazingBeaver Beta Tester 435 posts 5,528 battles Report post #16 Posted September 27, 2015 The teamkilling is absurd. Only thing I did to deserve being teamkilled, was asking him to speak english instead of spamming german. I understand german as I do about 10 other languages and what he did was just fill the chat with stupid nonsense, I was called racist and then teamkilled. Just checking how far away those team killing torps were launched would suffice to fast tell those who have nothing what so ever to give to WoWs. If WG was truly serious about team killers they could make system allowing team to vote for instantly kicking intentional team killer out from match and at least flagging that player to WG's staff if not outright putting that account on hold. [SKIDZ] Scarebird [SKIDZ] Beta Tester 176 posts 16,764 battles Report post #25 Posted September 27, 2015 I found being hit accidentally by friendly torps happens more at the lower tiers simply because players are not yet aware of the mechanics of using torpedoes, and how dangerous they can be to friendlies. Still get the odd clueless numbskull at higher tiers but it doesn't seem to be quite so widespread.
