Well, here's some more info I hope might be interesting:

 

- WG's position on submarines changed from "never" to "not currently planned." (whatever that means)

Also, it seems in 0.5.0.1, turrets (especially small caliber) will receive hp buff (survive better)

I'm not sure about the translation, but it seems German cruisers will get a better Hydroacoustic search compared to other cruisers.

Also, it seems in 0.5.0.1, turrets (especially small caliber) will receive hp buff (survive better)

- 0.5.1 will improve ranked battles MM for a better balanced teams.

- He mentioned that a reason why heavy cruisers like "Deutschland" were not included is because they felt they will be difficult ships, so they decided to avoid them. (not entirely sure here if he means for now or they won't come forever, needs better translation than google)

- According to "their statistics," Shimakaze/Gearing and Fletcher/Kagerou are well balanced compared to each other. win percentage difference is not more than 1% and average damage difference is not more than 1000. American artillery damage is twice as much of that of the Japanese.

- Nikolai 1 will come on October 19th if it is ready by then.

- 0.5.1 will bring some changes to aircraft.

- The reason spotter planes don't show their distance is because devs felt this information isn't needed and adds additional loads on the system. They now understand that this info is important for some players and are considering to return this feature.
- They haven't decided yet if the Polish destroyer will be sold on RU or not (I guess he means that for now, it is a region specific ship.. for EU maybe?)

- Kitakami is postponed until better times.

- Draw rates seems to be significantly higher on high tiers. Devs will do something about it.

- Changes to blue line mechanic will come with 0.5.1 which is expected sometime this year.

- Devs really tried to make the 1 CV = 1 BB = 2 Cruiser = 4 DD concept.. but it just didn't work.

- Tone will not come with any unique plane mechanic and they are not expected to come in near future. Tone will have to be "configured" by other means (basically, no aviation ships will come anytime soon and Tone will just have her only 1 plane just like all other cruisers).

- It is considered ok that an entire fighter squad can barely handle or even lose to a cruiser fighter plane!

Cruiser fighter plane pilots are trained in the awesome art of flying seaplanes, and as we all know, seaplanes are better than ordinary planes.

Tone with 1 seaplane

Deutschland too difficult to play

Its very simple why they maybe won't release the polish ship in russia.

Polands don't like russians and russians don't like polands! ( there may be exceptions^^ )

Nah. This is the same thing with Mikasa. They seems very careful about what premiums they release on RU. They use EU and NA as test ground for these ships performance and only decide to sell them on RU if they've succeeded.

They said it's normal if full squadron barely handles float fighter and damaged one can even lose. Read better...

 

Just to throw in some stuff from 1 stream with Vlegris (game balance) and WellDone (economy) yesterday:

- rewards (exp+credits) for capturing and defending bases bases in domination will come in 0.5.1. Also rewards for "blocking" the cap (like staying inside preventing the enemy to cap).

- rewards for shooting down planes (from both CV and other ships) will be reviewed (most likely increased of course).

- no plans to change the high tier economy, but it's possible in the future there will be other gamemods with increased credits rewards (compared to randoms).

Wow WG actually promoting objective based teamplay? Madness I say. Also will this be the start of an era where I can actually escort Battleships AND work on progressing the cruiser line.

 

It's like a dream coming true.
