I have heard (without source) that the VMF will be fleshed out completely before other lines added. Is this at all confirmed?

 

Confirmed is actually nothing for certain.

 

What was said through different sources:

- German BB Line will be next, rumored in fall

- Royal Navy Cruisers are in development

If my memory serves right a similar question was asked in NA a while back but I don't recall the answer.

 

In any case taking into account sure sources alone it's unclear if they will show up, then again there's that fourth line mentioned in the video about plans for this year still not revealed/spoilered.

That argument is really cheap. I guess there are better ones like differing prices and marketing strategies in different regions. It still pisses me off that I can't play with many of my friends in NA without either of us making a second account.

well ru won't play well with na and vice versa but I don't see why NA and EU can't play together since official language is English in both? Other than EU players suddenly have access to interesting events and rewards.

I just remenber the unified WoT testserver were RU players always teamkilled all EU players on battle start  for fun (and political hate).

There is no official language on EU server. In the EU offices yes, from what I heard in an interview a long time ago, but I remember someone (not sure if it was Ectar) saying that on the server itself there is no official language.

 

Edit: as it turns out I was wrong on the above. There are clear, written rules stating English as language in the port chat channels and as preferred language in the battles

not sure there would be that much toxicity between UK and US - probably fit under the term "banter" ... seen toxicity between UK and europe though (name calling/racial abuse going both ways I'm afraid). see that more often than Tking

To be honest, if it was for any different reason than the fact that Wargaming charges people significantly more in non-RU regions, that'd come as a massive surprise. But then again, it's just their politically answer for making more money, even if that answer in itself is total bollocks and could be circumvented easily.

Doubt it since

 

1) We have German BBs for gamescon/this year 

 

2) A dev on the NA server, essentially said VMF CVs are dead last in priority (ergo, VMF will not be "fleshed" out).

Actually we don't. I'd like to see them take a Yorck and replace the 8" with Nurnberg's 6" (including turret speed). As long as they're making ships up anyway. Maybe dump Kolberg and move 4, 5 and 6 down a tier.

Well, Yorck isn't made up. Kongisberg & Nurnberg are fine at their tiers. If they had good, heck even decent HE, I suspect they might be considered overpowered.

Actually Yorck is made up. There was a real ship named Yorck, but it's completely different from the one we have in game in any aspect except for main battery caliber.

You are welcome. So Both Na and EU use english as Preferred language. So there is no reason why they couldnt play together as there would be no East Vs West toxicity like with ru vs eu or na.

Dang, I knew that wargaming likes to give names to paper, but I thought Yorck was completely made up just like Roon and Hindenburg. I kinda wish that they would actually write in the descriptions of paper ships which plans they were based on, but I guess WG hates telling historical things correctly.

I think even devs don't know why they make Tone and put into the game files, cos she need some changes in catapult aviation system, they dont whant do it and don't want to sell Tone without it.

at one of interviews i heard that they don't want to make any other premium CV at near time, at least until got statistic of Saipan(near half of year, i think) and no plans of other branch CVs, cos it least popular type of ships and its better make any other

 

Zuikaku is in the game, it funny but her name was changed because it's reads similar like "chew crap" on russian and mb on some slavic languages to) literally was said that Shokaku is more euphonic.
