I have to wonder why they would think this is a good idea. Aside from the 'omg second class players' which I have a hard time arguing against in this case, there is also the fact that they are testing, so why not test on all servers? What is true for RU isn't always true for the rest, and vice versa. This is just another case of them only really bothering to look at the RU server.

Given how things have gone in the past, give this enough attention through constructive feedback and try to get it implemented on EU cluster as well

Just more of the usual Russian bias, nothing to take note of. At every oppurtunity they are giving the RU server the best treatment, unless we scream and rage like crazy. It is no use even trying to deny it now.

Long, but I think that past experiences are not always a right prediction of how things will go in the future. E.g. people learn, things change. Just.. don't...

Because if you want people to ignore feedback, well that would be the best way I suppose. 

 

The worst thing is that it proves what I was afraid of, some 'people' seem to think it was the whining crying raging [censored] [censored some more] which caught the previous change instead of the limited amount of people actually trying to give structured constructive feedback and/or asking in a calm and civil manner questions regarding subjects with regards to this game. 

 

The raging and crying and whining probably just caused it to take longer to be listened to.

We may very well see announcements on other servers in the next days. I'm not saying it's certain we'll get the same treatment but don't abandon all hope. In my translations, I make sure to point those things out because if I don't do it, some players get all worked up and angry that we didn't get what we were promised.

Don't worry, if they announce it on the EU portal, people will shut up. I will. But anything beyond a few days would be seen as evidence of us being filthy EU peasants and not RU master race. But considering we haven't even seen a single quip from the EU CMs... what can we base our expectations on?

You know, no matter how carefully formulated your warnings are, I have a feeling that some people will rage regardless. That and other people picking up these translations and adding some "creativity" or ballant disregard for language and context...

Well... let's look at it again. The only mentions we have seen, have been on the RU forums. We all assumed it would be a widespread thing, which to me at least was the most logical.

But there were no mentions here, or on NA... SEA I don't know about. If they have mentioned something along the way, it would go a long way towards easing my potential disappointment. But as far as I know, the only mentions have been on the RU forums. Then they announce it, and it appears to be RU only. Any little line since the first mention would have helped a lot, just to show that the rest of us aren't being ignored in this regard.

 

Even if I log in tomorrow and the costs are down, it is still a pretty crappy effort of communication. We are simply being left to our own devices in regards to figuring these things out.

I understand where you're coming from. The communication is so poor in the other regions (especially in EU) that it's nearly non existent. More often than not, we get events and other things out of the blue without any previous announcement; that's why I still have some hope left. Usually I don't get my hopes high so I'm not disappointed when we don't get anything. 

 

Regarding your last comment, you're right, nowhere is there written it will only apply to RU servers. However, when devs speak about aspects of the game on the RU forums, it more often than not only applies for that cluster. That is why I prefer to be careful when translating those announcements.
