Is it possible to win in this game?

I now have 57% win rate so yes you can win and you will get win and loss streaks like you do in all online team based games

I think of us have been there, hell i even made a thread like you because i was pissed off. 

What i did was stop playing the New Mexico (38% wr) and bought myself a Tirpitz (61% wr)

Things started going really good, finally i free xp:d the colorado and got the NC and it´s just gotten even better (70% wr) 

 

I was down at 40 somethin in general win ratio and i´m climbing my way back up the ladder for every game that goes by, not far off 52%. 

 

I have no clue why this sudden change occurred but my tips would be to play division when you can, try a new ship, maybe new ship class and see if things change.

Welcome to world of (insert game). Loss streaks are a part of playing these titles and we all have em, doesn't make you feel better I know but trust me, we all have them.

No it is not at all possible to get above a fixed 48% win rate in this game playing Randoms due to Wargaming placing heavy burdens on players it senses are gaining too many wins... there is obviously nothing wrong in the way you play - you are just unfortunate to be the target of the WG hammer of doom - it is down to terribad team mates and fail RNG and people playing with hacks/aimbots/ better PC/god on their side/wearing fluffy animal outfits... or whatever gives them an unfair advantage over your superior ability and outright supremacy in the game...

 

Keep going mate it does get better, honest.... experierience is a wonderful thing after all ;)

I had an awful time in my Fuso, horrid matches time and time again. Finally i said to myself "screw this, just one more and then to bed".

And to my amazement, my team worked hard. Most of my salvos connected, i shot down two planes and for some reason i got thanked. No idea for what or if it was sarcastic, i just know we won..

Bad times! But I had some epic loss streaks. However then I won a lot so it will get better! My advice: division. It's more fun even when you lose! A problem shared... Play as well as you can for the team. You'll regularly start coming top loser - and XP can be well over 1k in a loss. And have faith you will win!

I know its frustarting losing but you just have to soldier on and enjoy the game, I had a three day losing streak where I was on the winning side just a few times and my win ratio fell from 50%+ to 44%!

Try to find somebody to teamup with, it's more fun an you have a higher change to win if you work together with your divison mate(s)

Thought of this very thread when I just finished this game so took a screenshot to share with you,

 

I think you'll all agree I did as much as I could, getting nearly DOUBLE the points that our 2nd place ship got but yet, still a crushing defeat!! I've had three games like this in a row now, each time being top of my team but each time us loosing badly. It just does run like this sometimes, hopefully it'll turn around soon and yes, it is VERY demoralizing I agree.

I think losing streaks are to be expected this close after 'full' release, many of the new players that started will be getting to tier 4 or 5 depending on how many games they have played. 

 

Other than that, even after all the new guys have gotten to grips with things losing streaks are always going to be a part of any WG title. If you really want to torture yourself you could always pop over to tanks and get a sadistic pleasure from failing utterly at both. I did that the other day, 9 out of 10 games lost in warships, 6 game losing streak in tanks.

 

I felt so ALIVE.

if they "lemming to enemy ships" then follow them ffs

only stay on other side of your team if you know you are doing a holding pattern and you will fall back shooting enemy and running for your life

the so called lemming train will be looking at you and thinking ffs don't go alone

My first 40 games in this game i got amazing 11,3% WR. I started to win more than lose since i gave up to play with cruisers. When i changed my focus on battleships i can enjoy game much more.
