Not sure but I think its really strange that a nation so famed for centuries and whos entire empire (largest ever!) was created and held together by its navy is not in this game??

This has been discussed at length, the Royal Navy will arrive in time. Can't blame you if you don't like it, but this is how it is, and nothing is going to change it.

Best bet is to do a froum search before posting anythnig like this.

I know we have a lot of new people starting but this question gets asked nearly every day.. way more than questions about any other nations..

The only thing we know so far is that the Germans and Russians will come before the RN so dont expect to see them until next year.

that is because british tree making crew is lazy. There are 3 crews at developement section. They all are seperated to nations(for now 3) and whoever finishes first their tree will come out first

I updated the proposal on Page 3, although that is far from perfect...

There is also the good work done by mr3awesome on what the tech trees will/did look like (Q&As etc.), although some of the information is old and outdated, (e.g. Light Cruisers as tier 10 Destroyers)

As for the RN Tech trees, don't expect them that soon, but maybe a few premiums may turn up around  before the estimated date of late 2016.

Most likely it will come by the end of next year but then again this is wg so there can be a lot of changes(for better or for worse) but in the meantime there is a chance that,most likely, we will get a few British RN prem ships in order to satisfy (clearly) a large fanbase of players which are interested in RN's ships.But what is certain that RN won't come until one german and one regular soviet ship line is finished(although soviets coming before is ridiculous but no matter).So we will have to wait,unfortunately .

Premium ships are an excellent way to keep calm players for more or less one year. While they wait for the Royal Navy. Warspite, for example ....

Agreed, I'd love to see a British tech tree, however I can wait patiently

Well, public opinion actually does change the status quo. From a historical point of view and more. 

 

The argument is this, for me. The game (Devs) claim historical accuracy on the model/design of the ships, and indeed a great work they did! But, even if they didn't promise historical accuracy on the nave forces tree line, shouldn't there be? If we make a poll say, "Which Navy Tree Lines/Nations would you like to see after USA and Japan", do u have an estimate as to what people will vote, and more importantly, why? The British and the Germans were two of the biggest Navy forces in the world, objectively, reasonably, people would prefer those to be before...ehm, Russian say for example. I think, most would also like to see Russian too, but, not now.

 

Yes, it's not a new topic. The fact though, you and the Devs should consider, is that this topic is mentioned all the time. So, we go to my previous argument...the importance in which order the Nations should appear in the trees. That's all your honor. Cheers. ;)

Perhaps they should, but if they don't, well, we can stay here for months but nothing won't happen. If all the topics done about this didn't move them, nothing will. This is what I meant.

 

And it's not like I agree with them; I would have done a few things differently myself. It's just that I find all of this pointless. They just don't care about anything we could say on this matter, so why bother?
