Disgusted at the support

I am not a happy bunny at the support I have been given via a ticket .....I am now having to go down the legal route of asking my credit card company to get any and all monies back from WG

I am happy to say I took out insurance for such and incidence as I see what is happening as Fraud ...

Good luck to anyone paying money in this game as I have paid in a fair whack and I have been treated like a peasant

Bots are answering the Tickets as its a set script ....

Disgusted tbh is not the real word I would use

post the results of your actions here please so we can read what happens.

I certainly will but having already taken legal advice I am very optimistic ....WG have until monday 21st ,,,,You simply cannot treat your paying customers in such a manner

So your upset our stats and progress did not get reset? But why?

Stats mean nothing to me ....Its the way the support has treated my ticket ...

May I ask why you are disgusted with support?... :hiding:

I really dont want to say yet until I get an answer ...But to me its as if bots are reading a script tbh ....

Well as OP is unwilling to disclose any further details all i can guess is that he did not read the contract and something was not as he expected it to be. I really doubt you will be getting any refunds so next time you buy something from the internet make sure to read the contract and understand what you are doing (just a helpful little hint).

If he's willing to drop the game, he can simply chargeback on his credit card. He'll likely get banned for doing it, but he will recover his money.

And chargebacks hurt the payment receiver significantly. Not only do they lose the money, but they incur additional charge from the credit card company and they also get a mark on their rating with them. Get too many of those, and your credit card fees go through the roof.

That's why companies "on the internet" do in fact issue refunds on their own. It's cheaper for them in many cases than get hit with a chargeback from CC company.

That said, OP should try to work it out with support first. Perhaps PM someone from WG staff?

You should PM a russian WG staff about this.Remember the WGRU visiting WGEU because of bot answers on support? Go ahead and do it. Report them to WGRU

What a great topic to fuel the fire with some random troll crap.

But since it's friday and all, I'm just posting useless crap (no, the other normal crap i post is important with educational value).

Also a spoiler, you'll lose.

Considering WG announced multiple times that after going OB nothing will be reset anymore I'm really dubious what kind of legal advice he did get and why does he think his future looks so bright.

Chargeback is there to cancel fraudulent charges it's not an option for your convenience to reconsider yourself any time you think you deserve it. If WG is able to provide the proper charge details OP won't get his money back.

My guess is that he bought some premium vessel, and it didn't match the description / got tweaked after the purchase. In theory that is a breech of contract (you buy a car, and after a couple of months the garage decided: "yeah, those back seats and that turbocharger aren't needed, it makes this car overqualified compared to other cars, we'll take that away from you"), despite what the EULA says. The EULA is still subject to consumers law. If I recall correctly something like that happened in WOT as well, and WG lost that case, so they had to refund modified premiums. That's why when the superpershing got readjusted and some armour taken away, there was a public notice that those who wished could get their vehicle reïmbursed for ingame gold (not credits, gold).

This comment infuriates me, but I don't know why!

You are completely wrong, but I won't tell you why. First I need to get response from my internet lawyer.

Lots of speculation and prejudice here, why not just be nice and let him give us feedback on the issue as it progresses? Are you even remotely interested on what's happened? I am. Good luck OP, may the Force be with you.

Really, I only hope this is thrown out the window by the lawyers.  How anyone could be blind and deaf enough to not know there was no wipe planned for release when it's been the subject of about one thread a week since APRIL, not to mention several official wargaming announcements is beyond me.

Is this what he's complaining about or are you speculating?

It really is what Interdiction is complaining about(you can check his posts by visiting his forum profile), probably because he ignored every official announcement from WG and spend his gold on useless stuff during OBT.

And tbh he deserves to get burned for this.

Well, if I would be a lawyer, I would take the case:

1. easy money

2. lots of laughs

3. A story I can tell my grandchildren

At the moment we don't know what the issue is.

If it's something actually fraudulent (bought something for £10, they charged him £1000) then best of luck to you sir.

Similarly if they failed to deliver an item (bought the Tirpitz bundle, never received it) then equally best of luck.

If it's because you bought a ship and they changed it you might have a harder time because it depends on how it was promoted. I.e. if it said "fires 20 rounds a minute!" And they lowered it to 15 rounds a minute you could argue the product no longer matches the description. If however it said "fires lots of shots!" It could be argued that 15 rounds a minute is still lots of shots.

If however it's simply that you don't really like something you might have a harder time.

Lots of companys  DO do refunds on stuff you don't like, not because you're legally entitled to it, but because it's simply easier for them to give you back a few quid and have you go away rather than go to court over it.
