Don't get me wrong, it's nothing personal. But please, stop writing this threadbare slogan about "upcoming weeks". Ectar has the same manner, you learned from master, don't you?

You (WG) had build expectations with release at 17-09-2015! You said "Don't miss! Let's celebrate!" And when that day comes, there was... nothing in game, nothing in shop for current players, just NOTHING! Oh, there was streams, but I've got no time to watch them, just like 90% of us, your current customers. We're in majority, in our 20s-30s, we've got jobs, and money to spend for our hobbies. Now ask yourselves: "Are we ready to take their money?

And after all you and your coworkers from community department wrote I feel like: "Nahhh, lets piss off all these people."

Just like the tank crowd jumped ship, right? And because Ga.. treats its customers better?

That ship has long sailed and about to sink. And the other competitor is in no hurry to make ships.

Exactly, ships games are a niche game, not as popular as tanks or planes, so there are not many companies interested to develop them, and WoWs was already the first launched. Probably this is what WG is betting when it s treating its WoWs customers the way it does.

Btw, is that crap WoWp still alive? Are they preparing to shut down the servers?

Everyone interested in realistic and historical tank combat instead of arcade with US and Germany on the same side already did yes that is correct.

So far they treated me better ( and I'm a paying customer of both games ), so again correct.

This is so underwhelming...all those hours and feedback spent on the game since alpha and then beta and we get this??? Shame on you WG this is new low for such a company. I guess no big surprise this is one way to retaliate on EU after the sanctions placed on Russia. I figured your offshore registration gives you low enough company tax to be able to make a fortune already. Yes Cyprus that is not a coincidence now is it? One day I hope you will get into trouble for this. Yes RAGE!!! BTW as you can tell people were ready to pay lots of money for goodies. You delivered horse crap topped with goat poo........its not going to happen now.

Has there been any feedback from a Community Manager or WG on this?  Apart from Mr Conway's post yesterday on the newbie special offer that was in fact more expensive than the store?

I don´t know the WG-EU-guys.... but thinking of anyone forwarding the info about his own total failure to his own bosses who would not get the info from anyone else....  why would they do that?

All i´ve read from representatives of WG-EU was not encouraging me to expect anything better in the "upcoming" future.

Classifying this release and the work of WG-EU as total fail is a compliment. It´s just unbelievable.

Because its launch day which in every other online  game ever released means that there has been special events and stuff. This shows utter contempt by Wargaming for me and you.

to be honest, i have 150 games in my steam library, a lot of which i bought and played since launch, and most of them don't have special launch day specials. This includes a bunch of MMO's...

But how many of those have on-going cash offers like premium, premium ships, consumables etc. ?

Most games DO offer preorder things, either exclusives, or some form of incentive. And while we will do a bit of an imagination stretch, the Beta was the preorder, with the launch day being "the finished game" in which we would have gotten some preorder bonus, other than the great honor of Beta testing for free... I mean playing the game one month before launch (back in them Dark Ages of actually finished games and less hoaxes about "early access" it would have been called a Demo).

So, yea.. a port slot sale would have been nice, on top of the great con they`re trying to pull off new players with the "newbie package".

That historical tank combat includes or excludes the Caliope? At least WG didn`t introduce such blatant P2W crap yet. Yes, you heard me right - Pay 2 Win. Also, do share your stories about locked and deleted Forum posts and such, from their great team. Or how about this: http://ritastatusreport.blogspot.nl/2015/07/gaijin-shuts-down-youtubers-channel.html ?

Just to calm everyone down: This package is not intended to be a super special release package.

The only reason it is marked as special is the fact that it is time limited and the premium shop displays this automatically. It is put up as a starter kit with the most purchased items for a new player.

The price difference is due to the premium shop rounding. :hiding:

Well as it was mentioned earlier it is illegal in EU to mark a special offer when it s the same or even worse higher price!

The vast majority here are returning customers of other WG products and assume they can expect the same policies. Despite that this thread is not about not having special offers or events or even information in general about the release before it happens. It's about a ''special offer'' that's the opposite of special...

I noticed this as well when I looked at it. One thinks at LAUNCH they would give you a significant discount - I'm talking 50% here at LEAST.

Heroes of the Storm Launch - every player who bought a Stimpack (=Premium) got another one for free. In other words, you bought 60 days of premium for the price of 30. And that offer is NOT limited. Every new player gets it once.

Every week increasing permanent XP boost (= for every game played, not just the first) for a whole month.

Every MOBA ever: Weekly sales, 50% off certain things (not a launch-related thing)

Warships Launch: Scam offer with no discount at all

Outside of Launch: No offers at all

Why do they not do an event that gives you 50-100% bonus XP EVERY game? Seriously? There is too few high tier players anyway.

Well, TBH it was a small thing as it's only 10 eur. But it's quite weak from WG, bad sales/marketing and also not good for PR.

It's actually a bit funny they didn't cash in with some big offer (unless it was that cash + gold package, but didn't look so inviting to me and wasn't going to sink another 80 eur...). Usually F2P companies seem to offer that mega-bundle to milk the community - combine big discount with big price tag and you're making millions.

Then again the whole release was quite unassuming. I suspect there is some deal between Wargaming and the developer which nicely screws the latter over with its tricky conditions. But that's just my uneducated speculation.

Don't you guys see: You are paying for the stuff included in the bundle, and then a bit extra for the service of selecting the stuff for you. It's like having a personal shopper, can't have that for free!

Nah, you got this wrong. Very wrong. There was something. There was something in great supply! Excuses. Plenty and very varied excuses! :teethhappy:

This sort of thing happens everywhere, even large reputable chains like your local supermarket will have done it at some point, it's all just very shady marketing. There have been tons of cases where people see "Special Offer" and dont check whether it is or not or how about the classic "Buy 2 for £2" type of offer (where a single item would cost less than £1!). Bundles in the gaming industry are the same, most will be genuine but alot, whether by design or just incompetence, will be worse than the default item. Buyer Beware!

Rest assured that there will be plenty of offers in the upcoming weeks, and I will forward the feedback we have received to the powers that be.

FYI: "in the upcoming weeks" is not the same as "next christmas", ok?

Ok, so I can take your word that there will be "some" (I think "plenty" realy is the wrong word) "good" (aka reasonable and not some cashgrab [edited]) "offers" within the next 8 weeks, starting from 18.09., yes?

Oh, and 70€ Tirpitzes with a metric crapton of useless stuff attached to them is not a good "offer", just to be clear on that matter.

So, lets see how many "good offers" we will get until Thursday, 12.11.2015.

EDIT: Regarding the "Feedback", how about you guys grow some balls and start a little survay regarding this? Like a little Poll, asking: "Are you happy with the service Wargaming is providing?"

But lets be honest, we both know the outcome, and WG Main will propably never see the result anyway.
