Limitd or special offer only concernes the time an item is on sale. In this case this offer will end, so its not a false special offer. So are you saying then that this offer isn't even related to the launch? In which case this whole launch day has become more of a damp squib than it was prior to this information. Nobody wants to shoot the messenger and as has already been said nobody will lay this farce at your door, but I hope in your role that you are feeding back to whoever organised this stultifying non-promotion event that they have dropped the ball and left their customers, particularly in the EU, with a feeling of disillusionment and disappointment and a concern that incompetents are running the show. Please enlighten us to what is the "Super special Release package" ? At least one person at WG could at least tell you ???? Maybe a post on the forum to say this or that will be available! Many of us tried to recruit other players to the game and to be honest, I can not recommend anything at present! I am hoping that maybe there will be sales over the weekend! I am hoping that Serb happens to read the forum as it appears that no one can be arsed to tell him what is going on! Imagine you run a successful company, you stick some guys in marketing and they have infomation that a ton of people want to give you money for stuff you can actually supply! These monkeys then ignore all the metrics and do jack crap with sugar on! A launch "event" is something that should promote the game. Though with a vast playerbase as beta testers you need to do something for them as well, but WG has stated for us it's just business as usual, meaning we get nothing. No special offers, no so called "event" - nothing. And people being frustrated about that when every other online game does it differently is more than understandable. I played because it was fun. But I do care about ships. I bought the Gremy package to get into CBT and that was money well spent (but to be frank, if I had bought the Yubari or the Sims I'd be pissed). I bought the Italeri-Wargaming Bismarck model. In 2 months I spent more on this game than I ever would have spent on WoT. But I will spend no more as it is becoming blatantly obvious WG treats this as a moneygrab. It is almost like they don't want the game to succeed. First they brought in the policy of limited offer ships to keep them "rare". Yeah, well... That made sense for 3 CBT ships. For Warspite and Tirpitz (and future ships that will suffer this fate) it makes absolutrly no sense, and it did not make them rare at all. You will see a Tirpitz in almost every game in its tier spread. By which definition is that rare? Do you know which ship is rare? The Aurora. Yeah, the one that is available in the premium shop AND for doubloons since the OBT start. I saw maybe a total of 5 of them since I started playing. But I digress. What makes this a moneygrab? Those "limited offer" ships. Players can buy them only in the premium shop, so those who stocked up on doubloons to buy ships are screwed. I'm talking about doubloons, so I can't skip the fact that gold still isn't shared over the "unified" account. For really no good reason at all. Well, I don't accept the moneygrab attempt as a good reason. But what really tipped the scales for me was the Tirpitz bundle. You could only buy it in a (overpriced) bundle with some almost useless stuff (flags) and premium time many players couldn't even use at the time (a lot of people were on a vacation). And now WG gives us this "special" offer. It comes off as a spit in the face. Whoever came up with this offer should get fired. I'll try to end this post now... WG had a potential regular customer in me for this game, but their behaviour made me firmly decide not to spend any more money unless they give out some really good offers. They really need to stop treating their customers like sh*t. Also, I can't recommend the game to my friends when the company deals with the players like this. Also, they should bring Warspite and Tirpitz back to shop AND make them buyable with gold. That pisses me off the most even though I didn't seriously intend to buy either. Treating customers like that is just wrong. I usedto frequent WoT forums before (wasn't checking the shop often) and I don't remember any "limited offers" happening there. I know some tanks got removed from the shop, but they were buyable for months before that. TLDR; WG, stop treating your customers like this. And I agree with you. This is sabotage style behavior. No way are they being this incompetent without it being planned. Hell open beta had an appropriate level of fanfare with offers and stuff. I had gotten the impression that they would first put it up for sale with the "full game" release :/ I would have been okay with buying that useless garbage flags along with that ship, but honestly it dosent seem to me that WG are trying to make money when they advertise THIS badly about something so huge. Really good job wargaming EU... No problem finding things about when what is on sale on RU asian and NA server, but on EU server ? impossible, that is horrific!! and im not not a person that normally write and bad mouth in forums, but this pisses me off !
