Ishiro32 Alpha Tester 2,303 posts 1,149 battles Report post #52 Posted September 17, 2015 After change from CBT to OBT and seeing how much WG cared about that, I can't say I am shocked. The only thing I will say is that at least I expected some kind of deals in the shop. Occasion to buy something nice, cheap and maybe buy premium acc for a month or two.Ranked games are minor thing for me. Will play them, but I don't expect myself getting really excited about ranks or anything like that. Vision of organised play is why I still invest time into this game. Oh well. WG doesn't look like it care so neither will I. Simple as that.
Venatacia Beta Tester 872 posts 5,885 battles Report post #53 Posted September 17, 2015 After the latest "communication" on the announcement thread I am officially in the "no desire to play" catergory. I am seriously wondering if WG have internally decided to focus on Tanks and to just make a stab at the other games for the sake of appearances and then sabotage them so we will go back to their cash cow. Everything from the Warspite fiasco to this seems to have been designed to piss us off. And now we see contempt oozing out. If that's their goal then I hate to shock them but WOT is an old game that's just getting older and frankly its just not that enjoyable most of the time I like this game. But [edited], I'm regretting the money I've spent on it. Thanks be to God I resisted the Tirpitz temptation. I have been thinking the same as you. I finished WoT some 6 months ago and will not be going back to that. I came here to WoW because it looked good watching you-tube clips and then tried it and really liked this game but since OBT I have seen WG do things that suggests to myself that they are finished with this game which is why I have not donated anymore since CBT. Could be totally wrong but I will trust the little voice in my head, it's has been right many times before. I don't regret the money I have spent, all of £18 for 3/4 months of play up until I quit playing this game a week ago. Been good value.
Gatt Players 509 posts Report post #54 Posted September 17, 2015 I stopped playing WoT since the day I downloaded WoWS. I'm getting an email each week from WG asking me to get back to WoT ("We see that your tanks are rusting in the hangar") with pathetic new tank offers and other silly specials. Well, at least WoT has a working marketing department. With ppl actually working in it.

[BEWBS] Magecraft [BEWBS] Beta Tester 135 posts 11,396 battles Report post #72 Posted September 17, 2015 Do not forget the awesome Captains Primer where they spend 2500 gold (ish) for you with no actual saving In fact if you buy the gold and are willing to wait to see if they will do 1/2 price slots it could cost you 4 port slots. https://eu.wargaming.net/shop/wows/?utm_source=global-nav&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=wows-forum&utm_content=premium-shop&item=1458 So worth 2450 (1250 7 days prem and 4 port slots 1200) or you could buy 2500 gold for £7.30 only £0.17 more (about what the extra 50 gold is worth). DumbleDerp Beta Tester 659 posts Report post #75 Posted September 17, 2015 But QB gave away 6 prem ships! True, but again. It was a little bit of ships, some questions that didn't really get much response and then immediately back to tanks. It seems like it was just gotten out of the way asap. At least to me.
