What would have been your "Launch Day" offers?

At least put the Warspite back in the shop or add some special offers. Cause this "launch" currently  feels very underwhelming.

Agreed, especially as being a tier 6 the Warspite can take part in Ranked Battles.

I'd also put the Tirpitz, Albany and Kitikami back up (for 48 hours only). I'd also consider offering for a very limited period the 3 pre-order ships (can't remember if they said they'd never put those up again to keep them pre-order exclusives).

By the specs of it: sure looks like a perfect II Premium :)

That's what I've been saying, according to Ev1n's Q&A it's "there is a possibility that it will return in the future"

WG just loves to watch an opportunity fly by...

Anything, contrary to what was handed out (wonder how hard someone fought to get the 3x xp approved).

But wouldn't an increased credit gain multiplier for dmg dealt be better since this won't attract bots/afkers as much?

Not everyone come out with 150k damage done :D, but yeah...your point is better, it went over my head for some reason.

Could also give out at random gold for ribbon events,

ie each ribbon earned in a battle gives you a random chance of being gifted 1-10 gold coins

Well that's a shame. Bad players lose more credits in the long run. Shameful ;)

I would have waited and not made the official release until the German cruiser line was ready. That would mean a new German tier1 in all accounts, and would have gifted another port slot.

Then I would have made a 10% discount on premium time, Premium ships and gold.

This is the most sensible request. I would add on top of it discounts on port slots also, as it would have benefitted all existing players, while giving a new premium max tier 3 ship (Aurora if the laziness is simply outstanding and everybody breaks the office doors at 17:00 sharp) and 14 days of prem time in a nice cheap bundle for any new players that might come and want to spend some decent amount of money, without bordering obscene in the first day.

But that would have pushed the costs as low as 300+ dubloons per Euro, which seems far fetched from an office that didn`t even bother to pre-prepare portal layout and patch notes and wake up a bit earlier to post them. Funny how WG was late at its own party.

I would liked to have seen some new content, whether that would have been a tech tree line or maybe a couple of low tier premiums wouldn't have mattered.

I've said elsewhere that I don't understand why they just didn't put this off for a month and do it when the released the Germans, they would have been offering something new to new players.

Perhaps under pressure to lose the "beta" tag. But if they release the Germans in a month - then we have a x3 day aswell today I suppose... But I wouldn't have released. I'd just have said "beta ends". It's not a release anyway it's just a wind down of test. Meh. Not bothered so long as more content comes soon. I suppose ranked battles are in fact the release new content.

Lifetime Subscription - 300 euro

Given their current pricing rate you have a life expectancy of another 365 days.  :B

WG has hundreds of players willing to throw their money at them and the golden opportunity to see them flood the premium shop but went "Nope, not interested, keep your money"

Why ?

If i was the BigWig in charge my launch day others would have been:

7 days Premium FREE + 1 free Port slot (as a thankyou for supporting the game)

25% off all Doubloon packages

15% off premium ships

X5 for the first battle of the day X2 for every battle after that (24hour)

while i am not a beta tester i feel they should have been rewarded as well so i would give all Closed alpha/beta testers a free Aurora or if they already have one they get the Doubloon value of the ship

Well, I'd be happy with some new prem ships, with or without bundles, maybe some old ones resufacing again; this just seems like a rather boring update with a rather boring special package.

The x3 is nice though :bajan:

I'm trying to get my head around WG's regional operations.  I understand why they have regional pricing structures targeted to maximise their income from differing regions, but why are other regions running promotions and pushing out information while WG(EU) offers nothing special and has been quiet all day?  Are the regional operations franchises of WG?  So less promotion and work by the EU office means more profit for WG(EU)?  Looking back over my time playing WoWS since OBT it's always seems to be the other regions where information first occurs and then gets passed on to EU players by bi-lingual players.
