Spec Lenovo Y400. It's loading in assets or something. I have exactly this. I circumvent it by loading a replay before I actually hop into the game itself proper so that when I do I can join the battle from the very start.

Rebeldad1 Players 58 posts 65 battles Report post #10 Posted September 15, 2015 Wish they would improve the load time some. I dont have a SSD yet but then it shouldn't be a requirement if they coded it correctly.

I was dubious at first as I had an SSD which occasionally had slow loads of WoWS and someone suggested using Trim to clean up my SSD and bingo I'm loading in with 23+ seconds before the battle minimum now and every time. As a test I swapped WoWS over to a brand new HDD and it was back to not making it ingame for the start on the first battle/maps of the day to load ins with 10 secs to go or less after that. [ENUF] Ze_Reckless [ENUF] Players 2,532 posts 23,427 battles Report post #12 Posted September 22, 2015 I had the same issue. Long loading time when starting the game, when going to port or clicking on my ships. (I have WoWS on SSD.) What helped: I did deinstall and install the game again. Good as new. So HDD / SSD is not the problem.

[ST-EU] Admiral_noodle Supertest Coordinator 6,337 posts 4,395 battles Report post #14 Posted September 22, 2015 How long is long? It takes a while (about a minute) to be able to log on then I can sit in port looking at the spinning icon for about a minute. But I've got patience and it doesn't harm anything. Loading into games can take up to 2 mins and load me in up to 45 seconds late. However this improves as I play. I guess the game is caching ships and maps. [ST-EU] Admiral_noodle Supertest Coordinator 6,337 posts 4,395 battles Report post #16 Posted September 22, 2015 Why? Caching is good. Takes stress off the week points of a system without introducing uber fat client.

As i fear that profits are declining. just watch this video, the guy knows what he is talking about. and i knew a lot of things that are wrong, but know my progress will stop at tier 6 i guess and i maybe will grind out ONE line due to our huge number of portplaces....:

There is no caching at WoT. Why is there caching here? This caching system wasnt here before in CBT so i might have to reinstall to see if that works. I play destroyers a lot as you know and it is important to load in time. It takes 75 seconds usually for me(45+30)

So to load into a match. Ok that's a long time! since I seem to load in quickly I tend to go cap in Murmansk. I wish I knew what the bottleneck was. It can't be PC power only mines rubbish. Can't even play on high settings. Broadband however is 150Mbps.

I will do it too at the end of this month. I think a clean reinstall will clean the load time to battle and clean the FPS problems. My computer is a potato but at low settings i was able to run at 50-71 FPS now it went down to 20 FPS. If they dont optimise graphs and teh reinstall doesnt work i am probably going to quit the game for a long while like i did with WoT before they optimised their game and every next patch was making my FPS go down. I have 61 FPS at WoT with low graphs IF you wonder what kind of potato can run this game Here is my computer specs Operating System: Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz Memory: 3000MB RAM Card Name: GeForce 9600 GSO 512 Display Memory: 2559MB Dedicated Display Memory: 1024MB DDR2 Dedicated System Memory: 1535MB
