Treaten with report

It seems that even calling someone "noob" some players treaten you with reporting to wargaming. Is this even allowed just saying one word and you get a treaten by someone saying reporting you to wargaming.

I even saw a guy that claimed to be a CBT player(isnt CBT player) and said WG made a rule.....okay okay but i want you to know that i cant even keep a straight face saying this.....said WG made a rule that every player in the team has to protect the CBT player or they will receive ban....

Noob is not a swear but it is derogatory and hence not in the spirit of good sportsmanship, therefore I'll report anyone that uses it on me too. As for the CBT reference..what an anus that guy must have been. If he was serious I can't see him ever contributing any worthwhile to the human race.

So what? Its just a video game to have fun with. Driving ships, shotting big guns, crusing the seven seas, nobody needs the toxic chat.

 

There is a reason, even if some claim it to be only a placebo, why WG put "Misbehavior in chat" under the report options.

Never mind the definition of the word...use your common sense and be truthful, when was it ever used with reference to the definition? Hardly ever. When the word noob is used it's often mean't in a far more degrading way, i.e. useless player, idiot, etc. So please lay off the BS on the definition. If someone gets upset by being called a noob then perhaps they take it too seriously, but if anyone calls me noob I don't get upset by it at all, I simply reward him with a report, all's fair in love and war.

Nah i didnt have them activated until i had a really good battle and knowing that i didnt have replays activated i felt sad 

 

But i couldnt find it in my screenshot files. Seriously i missed out on a lot of good stuff happend

100% of people who say they report you either never do that or if they do wg support is probably ignoring such tickets. There is a report system in game that people can use.

Geralt, I think we are talking about the "In-Game Report Function". But maybe I am wrong.

 

BTW, I always report people when I say I do it, but so far, I did this only with TKs, because "Player plays poorly" doesnt fit the bill.

We've all done it, I insulted people terribly in WoT because I was so obsessed with stats it made me mad, hence the complete switch from stats freak to play4fun guy. I got tird of playing a game and feeling angry all the time. Now I don't mind people insulting me, I just use my reports and be done with it. The others guy's already peaved off so let him stew. As for newbie, I think some of us will be newbies forever and at some point we may graduate to 'noob', haha, but if a guy insults someone then he can't cry if he's reported, even if he was perhaps right. I think if we choose to type in some non-constructive comment then perhaps we should expect a reaction of some kind. No-ones going to say 'aw, thanks man' after being insulted, no matter how mellow the insult is.

Yea if I'm feeling mean I'll report someone for name calling - which is what it is. Not that it seems to do much.

 

I'll report for rudeness in general even if it's not profane.

I see now I just never use that one and few times I meet people crying in battle like hax reported I have a replay(in wot) so most of the time whenever someone say reporting I assume they sending a ticket to support instead of using the ingame one.

Yes it is allowed, but it is unlikely that it will have consequences. To get punished by ingame reports you have to be reported quite a lot in a short periode of time. So one person reporting you, will have no consequences.

It is a game, I play it for fun and I'm not a massogist. Receiving insults is not why I play. I will not report people for calling me a n00b because, like most people, I screw things up. But calling some one names is never a solution and it always starts with n00b naming. I also think it is a shame we get used to be called a n00b. Silly silly gaming communety. I also have intercourse with my mother and apperantly I hace aids, cancer an even ebola. Why gamers, why do you say that?

If I did a mistake, I won't say anything, but if a BB sees a DD and drives in a straight line and then whines that I didn't spot the torpedos for him and that I'm an idiot - sorry, but that's annoying as hell.

Since this thread is open I would like to get some opinions.

Yesterday I was divisioning with a friend. We entered battle in 2 BB's I was in the Fuso and he was in a Myogi ice he has not reached the Kongo yet. We were thrown in with T8. We instantly got reported by allot of players for I entering a game with a T4 and a T6 BB even though we finished the match in position 3 and 4. I wan to hear from some of the experienced players since in my opinion a Myogi with a Fuso seems like a ok division.

Is it or is it not ok?

Myogi and Fuso is a fail division as the Myogi will count as a tier 6 battleship in MM. Kongo would just about have been acceptable but if you're dragged into a tier 8 match Myogi is just a liability.

 

Reporting for that is a bit much though.

We finished 3-4 in our team and Myogi has he same caliber and nearly the same range as the Fuso + you still meet T4 BB's in T8 with no division attached that's why I asked

Myogi in a Tier 8 is a no go! Kongo? Why not? Everything is better on her then on the Myogi. Guns, AA, HP and she is more accurate. I can understand the players that where upset. Instead of a real BB they got a Myogi in a Tier 8 match. Not funny.

 

Besides you seam to know that the MM is +3 for BBs and you took the risk deliberatly. You could have taken a CA or also a Myogi, but you chose to take your Fuso. Your ranking is nice. But did you win? Place 3 & 4 doesnt mean much without a victory.
