Dykeras Players 43 posts Report post #1 Posted September 13, 2015 As title, I am very new to the game (used to play WOT years ago) and a friend mentioned the game to me, stating it was still in Beta but getting a full release soon. So, a few friends and myself (around 8 of us) decided to start up in WOWS but with the release coming this week, should we wait until there are some special offers/discounts. both for prem time/gold and ships? (I realise we just missed out on the German Battleship) Will there be any offers?

Userext Beta Tester 5,342 posts 2,957 battles Report post #3 Posted September 13, 2015 with not being %100 sure i think they will do some discounts. Just an idea dont buy premium account. Buy murmansk
Fi_8_8_8_8 Beta Tester 279 posts 2,318 battles Report post #4 Posted September 13, 2015 The Murmansk is still a nice ship if you need a premium. Apart from that, and especially when you guys are new to WoWs I would wait with investing serious cash. Rather, I'd recommend playing the available lines to a least T6 to get used to the game and figure out what works etc. The Tirpitz was a huge rip off anyway (a ship with a AAA game prize tag )..no one in their right mind bought it.. But as long as you don't have a lot of experience with the game mechanics etc..you will not have fun with high tier premiums anyway (since you'll get wrecked by experienced players quite easily). My recommendation, as mentioned above..play through the existing lines..and October is around the corner (bringing the German fleet and possibly the Russian one as well) so plenty of ships for ya Port slots might be an issue though..here as well, I would just recommend selling the proceeding ships for now..and wait for a discount on the port slots. [LAI] Nagine Beta Tester 680 posts 3,140 battles Report post #9 Posted September 13, 2015 "Special" bundles are almost guaranteed. However, I am so hoping that there will be brand new premium ships (quite a few can be found already among the files, including high tier CV).

Many people thinks there is a diffrence between OBT and release Yeah, like they will change anything for "release", that is just PR excuses for bad launches These days. There might be some "Special" for release, probably some overprize bundles like EU alsways gts to milk the whales a bit, but i don't even expect a patch or anything, no time to fix stuff when have to roll in the Money. Well OBT came out of nowhere with 0.4.0 No one was expecting such major changes. Its jsut the way WG rolls
Dykeras Players 43 posts Report post #24 Posted September 13, 2015 I did make a similar post a few days ago and some forum genius stated; 'Wargaming do not want to advertise because they already have enough players and don't need any more' I wasn't sure if he was trolling or just stupid... I'm not after a high level premium bundle, just a bundle with a med-low tier (3-6) ship+gold+prem time - although not sure about my friends, they tend to spend far too much money on games I learned my lesson in WOT by buying the Jagtig88 premium tier 8, and I was terrible in it.
