That has never played carriers and he hasn't 100+ battles in Minekaze or Cleveland?

No such thing as great stats.

Most players with "high" stats will play mainly one ship, or even more common they will have played through beta alpha etc. This meant they practiced before wipe, and then they were ahead of the curve on ships. Or they played a lot of cvs which are hugely op for stats.

For example they were first to tier 6 and then 7 etc, so they played a lot of games with a huge advantage. So no, there are no great stats that mean anything really. Stats only mean something to yourself as you know the back ground of them.

Next we will be excluding further ships depending on whose profile is linked

Case proven first guy i looked at had most of his matches in 8 9 and 10. So basically rushed through to top tier and then huge advantage, so no not good stats.

Agree, and also the stats do not show how many battles were played in a Division. I'm sure I saw one of those guys in a Division of two Iowa's the other day, they were the only Tier 9s in the battle. They massacred our T6/7 BBs and won the game for their team.

So because I, for instance, played a load of carriers the stats I achieved on other ships become meaningless to you?

Well, your loss I guess....

Think about it this way... We have touched carriers, so we are immune to all the stat measurement/[edited] contest crap

I never said they're meaningless, and it's not my loss only. A friend already gave up WoWs cause he got fed up of being torped from 280 meters no matter what evasive actions he took. I bet there are more like him.

P.S. Beside the fact you re a great player overall, your best stats are with CVs. So point proven I guess.

Hm, and if a guy played mostly tier 1-7, he would be a sealclubber. Good to know that there are no really good players here, only rigged stats :)

Will he quit WOT (or any other game he plays) cause he gets hit with shells? It is even harder to dodge those.

Pre-4.1. I've barely touched/played the Hakuryu because I do not enjoy it and I specifically played Hiryu AND Shokaku with the 2-2-2 setup back in the day. If you scale that down to the Ryujo then my Fuso is outperforming carriers and my Amagi is performing just as well damage-wise... and my Mogami beats the Shokaku outright. So, point proven I guess, carriers OP? :)

Your friend must not be a very good player because up to and including tier 8 I have had very few problems from carriers, especially in the department of being unable to take proper evasive action. Situational awareness and anticipation (and a degree of triangulation) go a very long way in fighting off carriers. So I guess it takes playing a carrier to beat a carrier?

You should tell him to come back, as carriers are no longer overperforming, at least in my opinion. Or, if he liked the game enough, he'd just "adapt and overcome", just like some of us did with other aspects of the game (Colorado..).

I've been wondering about this.  With there being fewer and fewer "new" players then surely now the majority of people between 1-7 are experienced players grinding new lines?  They may not have mastered the tactics for the particular class or ship they're playing, but they shouldn't be an easy kill anymore.

Maybe except T1-2, maybe 3 as well. Most of us have enough free experience just by playing higher tiers that we can skip those 3, or we get through them in very few battles. I'd say these tiers are mostly completely inexperienced players. Tier 4 and up, things change.

What number of battles are we talking about?

Because, here below in my signature are my real stats at one point (no Minekaze, Cleveland or CV). Then I got sloppy.

From what I gather. He is trying to find BB player, because he banned more or less all other classes...
