Torps ghosting through ships

Had a game in my Wickes ~1hr ago and a salvo of torps simply ghosted through an enemy ship I fired at. The distance wasn't above their max range, if anything it was a little too close for comfort with the distance being around 2km. Am I the only one that has noticed this or similar issues with torpedoes, or am I the only one?

I don't think I've ever had that happen with torpedoes. I've had plenty of shots phase through ships in the CBT, but that hasn't happened since. I'd chalk it up to lag either on the server side or yours.

I won't rule out a genuine bug, but like I said it hasn't happened to me yet.

Thats called desync. Its related to files and has nothing with your setup. You can try restarting your modem and computer that might work but desync is desync

The game was running perfectly fine, I wasn't moving irregularly, neither were none of the other ships and my ping was sitting happily at 30-35 all game. If I didn't have reasonable suspicion it was a bug I wouldn't have bothered posting. Rather odd situation though, going from;

As i said before there is nothing wrong towards your FPS nor ping. Desync is a problem with files. A problem generated by game that developers havent fixed yet. Its not bug. Your ship was probably moving weirdly otherwise you need proof for your words

Unfortunately I was not recording the gameplay as recording software makes my FPS take a hit, if you have another idea where I could fetch a replay from that'd be great, but other than that, you're just going to have to take my word for it. I've been playing games like this for long enough to be able to tell if the game is desyncing bad enough for a ship to have 4 torps ghost right through the length of it.

Awesome, I'll keep that in mind for future. Is it retrospective? Asin it'll still have replays of games I did before enabling it?

No, it`s not. Just like in WOT you need replay file which is created immediatly after every battle.

Btw, I don`t like your clan tag and I think it deserves reporting and I just did it.

I see it all the time. Torps simply runs through afts, shells too.

They are visible in every forum post, that there are no clan related activities in the game yet has nothing to do with him finding something offensive in the mentioned clan tag he sees on the forum no?

Also when you click on said clan name you will go to their profile page. There might be something there which is offensive to Polish players like KptStryzyga.

 

That people neg rep him is wrong, though BBV is right that in order to remedy this he should contact support as discussing it on the forums won't help in any way and said discussion is known to have a undesired outcome due to certain elements 'contributing' to said discussion.

I did but BBV removed screenshots of your clans tag and motto as it was "naming and shaming". You got the clue?

Upon further investigation, you are referring to an old WoT clan that I completely forgot I was a member of. It was not created by me, nor named by me. An old buddy QuakeRiley made it and he must've made me commander when he left it over my hiatus from WoT. I'll get around to sorting it out now. No offence was intended by the clan, and I'm sorry you interpreted it that way..

I can recall at least 20 torpedoes that went past the enemies tail segment without collision. I attribute it to lag/desync, I doubt there is a no collision mesh on the ship.

I was in clans like STRNK, ODIUM, XII and my NA reroll is in S3AL. I`m Polish. I`m starting almost every game with "siemka", sometimes I`m writing it in chat during game too. After every kill. In WOT I have 63%WR and in WoWs 55%.

How do I fit to this stupid stereotype?
