Sharana Alpha Tester 2,271 posts 1,040 battles Report post #1 Posted September 10, 2015 The devs posted this survey results on the RU forum. It started as forum initiative, but they liked it and made survey in the office. The results are in the spoiler (big pictures). There are probably many mistakes, but I spend only 10-15 minutes translating them. Well, that inspires confidence in the product. </Sarcasm> EDIT: How large do I have to make the Sarcasm signs before people realize that I'm being SARCASTIC? Mister_Greek Supertester 1,046 posts 4,551 battles Report post #3 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) You cannot expect from a full Developer team to play the game,no Dev team of any game does that... If i was fixing bugs whole day long or working with content,i would be fed up too,i would prefer to go for a beer or two Notice the third board of how many hours they give into the game off-work. Personally if im encircled by computer screens all day long,i would prefer to commit suicide using a toothpick than spent even a minute more in the game. Some of them might even have "a life".

Well, that inspires confidence in the product. I noticed your sarcasm, but as a developer myself, I can only tell you - if you spend half the day working on a game, tweaking numbers, creating 3D models or coding it - you don't usually enjoy playing it that much. It's simply how it is. I am an explorer type* myself, and if I work on a game I know EVERYTHING about it - so there is nothing to learn and nothing new, which makes it instantly a lot less exciting for me. *Explorer type players like to find new places, learn about game mechanics etc.

Ishiro32 Alpha Tester 2,303 posts 1,149 battles Report post #17 Posted September 10, 2015 "we have statistics for everything" which one tells how how fun to play a ship/map/game mode? It's the function of the % of the players playing that ship, ship's performance and number of posts on the forum with name of said ship. Oh and you need to add fun number like 6 to the calculations, otherwise it doesn't work.
inAbag Beta Tester 221 posts 676 battles Report post #18 Posted September 10, 2015 Their response to the satisfaction of the current state of the game intrigues me. You can interpret it multiple ways, but I have a feeling that if the follow-up question was "Do you think the game is ready for launch?" that most answers would not be "Yes".
