So i feel a little cheated today when i looked at the premium shop on other servers to find that they are getting the Tirpitz for the equivalent of £34 when we had to pay £43 and get all that extra crap no one wanted. https://asia.wargaming.net/shop/wows/specials/?item=889

 

And while i have no one other than myself to blame for buying it (and i don't regret it) it does feel a bit off for them to do this.

True, but the difference is 30 day premium account and gold. And while i don't like premium and probably never will it's still better that the total crappy crap that is included anyways.

By the way: It's somehow remarkable that they don't offer WoWp and WoTG over there (the last one is missing on US shop too).

I don't understand why you complain about the pack... if you think it ain't worth it's price, then don't buy it...

Eventually you will most likely be able to buy it without any additional stuff.

And last but not least: it's clearly no must have, especially since you can get the Bismarck for free in the near future...

like I said I am not blaming anyone else but myself for buying it (and I do think it was worth it) but I don't see why they should get it cheeper off the bat while we don't.

Thanks WG, the insane EU price has totally saved my wallet from buying another pixel-ship. By the time it comes back for a normal price, all the hype will be long gone.

I just received an e-mail from WG for WoT: a US tank-destroyer+gold+Premuim time. Seem like this is the new trend: inflate prices with extra stuff that you may or may not want.

 

I can tell them that for me it's not working. If I want to buy a ship I want a ship, and if I want to buy gold I'll buy gold. And no, I'll never buy premium time.

Tirpitz deal with extra stuff on sale in Europe - where Germany is. Not all that surprising when you think about it ;)

 

Anyway I bought it with the extra stuff and made use of it so I'm not too displeased.

 

Though it's just as annoying when you go to YouTube and get "this video is not available in your country"

First of all, I don't whine, I just comment with my oppinion.

Second: So you think it would be better to let people who are not right think, that they are right?

Actually that would be like: let stupid people stay stupid (not that I think that the OP is stupid, but that would be the ultimate consequence)

And last but not least: a forum is a place where people can discuss various oppinions... that's the whole damn reason for making a forum, and not giving people a platform where they can pat themselves on the shoulders for having the same oppinion.

See, we got a head and a brain to think and to question things, not to nod at everything that others say...

 

But back on topic.

I guess the price difference might have something to to with the average income of the different regions and with the popularity of certain things.

It was pretty clear that players in Europe would go crazy on such an iconic ship like the Tirpitz and that they would be willing to pay more for it than in other regions. Don't know about the Asian playerbase, but I guess they will be willing to pay more for Asian content... I remember that there was a golden Type-59 on the Asian WoT-Servers which was really expensive (like more than 100$ or so) and there were players that bought it...

Once the first wave of interest has gone, I think they will introduce other ways or packages to buy the Tirpitz, perhaps through special events... WG did that in WoT all the time... new premium content was very special and expensive first, but quickly becase cheaper later.

So you are against premium account because you do not have enough time to play the game regularly? Well, what about those who have some time to spend regularly most of the days. for instance when they have put their kids to bed, they may take an hour or so with WoWs.

 

Without premium, you will use a lot more time grinding, and there is a lot of people that haven't much time to spend on WoWs, even if they can play it regularly. 

 

But again, I'm talking about people who oppose premium account, not those who chooses of different reasons not spend money on premium account. For instance, people who haven't the timetable to utilize premium accounts efficiently and plays WoWs irregularly. But the principle with premium account and a premium ship is much the same. Earn more credits and xp.

While I understand the logic behind your argument.. it`s only 33 euro cents per day wasted. I don`t want to sound cheap or accuse you of being such, but it is a petty sum to argue about. And while I don`t swim in money, nor do I play nearly enough to justify premium, even I keep it when I play.

 

I could understand some 12 years old that doesn`t even have lunch money, but I can`t understand a grown up bickering about 33 cents. Hell, let`s take 10 euro at face value - you spend a LOT more than that in ONE night out .

I grabbed that 365 day prem-deal @ 66€ they had on WoT some time ago. I think I'll get my money's worth out of that.
