DMA27 Players 81 posts 1,712 battles Report post #1 Posted September 8, 2015 Hi there, I happily grinded the US-CV line to T10, felt the pain against swarms of TB and DB from IJN-CV pre4.1 and all, and now at T10 I can exist but ... I cannot play anymore!!! Since 4.1 and the MM balance for CV, CV-T10 battles take ages to pop if at all within the so said 5min timer!! I believe with the large amount of AA on all ships and CC fighters on T8+, the CV restriction should be lifted for tier 8, 9 and 10!

Richard_V Beta Tester 122 posts 1,179 battles Report post #4 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) High tier CV players enjoyed riskfree seaclubing and once they have to face equal opposition they chickened out. With reduced CV population, waiting times are exponenially higher, but as caldark wrote, new players will raise. And for them, competitive environment will be a standard, Just play other classes in a meantime. Edited September 8, 2015 by Richard_V

'Just play other classes' Is not an argument, how is that a way for a game developer to deal with a pathetic situation THEY caused. Ah nevermind, thanks for spending time and money getting there, but they're crap at the moment so play another class. Vulgarny Sailing Hamster 1,546 posts 3,274 battles Report post #8 Posted September 8, 2015 You mean that people stopping playing high tier carriers because MM cannot handle low number of high tiers CV. So solution is to make that number even lower so more will drop? BB Trevors rule the sea
[NBS] silence5 Privateer 268 posts 10,540 battles Report post #9 Posted September 8, 2015 I'm realy interested in the stats after this patch. I guess IJN CVs will have far less games played overall compared to the US. Thats what happens when you overnerf a certain part of teh game... it destroy the game for the rest of the players because everything is tightly connected. Also complainig about lack of top tier ships when the game isnt out for even half a year ... you know some people don't play one class all the time.

Serjio Players 22 posts 5,364 battles Report post #11 Posted September 8, 2015 I feel for ya. You just need to play at peak times...if you got long queue time not many CV guys about and use another ship for a few, then viola- short Time. As more people Reach 9/10 you'll likely see shorter times anyway. For now, I'm Staying Taiho for that Reason. Fair amount of 8s,9s about. Not so many 10s. Give it a few and people will likely move up.

Vulgarny Sailing Hamster 1,546 posts 3,274 battles Report post #13 Posted September 8, 2015 It is developers fault that CV got forced MM not players fault. Would be funny to see reaction of BB t10 trevors when they would get forced MM and had to wait 10-20 min for a game.

Would be funny to see reaction of BB t10 trevors when they would get forced MM and had to wait 10-20 min for a game. it is players' fault. Some people got to tier 10 CVs in 1-2week and they started seal clubbing like a mad man. Dont play that ship if you dont want to wait. "But i wanna play it" then you shouldnt have rushed through tiers. CV players that are in tier 10 and whines about MM change reminds me of a mother that has 4 childs. CV ate too much now he is fat and mother realised CV is eating too much and others are suffering from hunger so mother divides the food for that day to 4 and gives it to the children. But CV is whining about it because it isnt his fault that he ate that much....

Vulgarny Sailing Hamster 1,546 posts 3,274 battles Report post #16 Posted September 8, 2015 So according to you its underage kid fault that he ate too much not his irresponsible parents that allowed that to happened. I guess you are the guy who always shift the blame to others. All problems are developers fault that implemented bad ideas and now try to "fix" it by breaking it even more. Players fault is that they played the game and earn XP points that Dev set in game.

IamTroublemaker Beta Tester 2,287 posts 11,047 battles Report post #18 Posted September 8, 2015 So you really blame people for playing the game? I hope you will never work in my industry. There is a difference between people playing and enjoying the game, and those who obviously live this game (since getting a tier 10 in 2 weeks is like playing ~10-12 hours a day) How is WG supposed to balance it? Put tier 10s against tier 4s maybe? The only way the could have solved it is to release a new tier each week (start from tier 5 maybe) but that would be just stupid, so yes, its the players fault for rushing, every idiot would have known that there wouldn't be enough high tier players for the first few months... I really cannot understand the way of your thinking, those players who rushed should just rush another line if they don't know what to play...
Vulgarny Sailing Hamster 1,546 posts 3,274 battles Report post #19 Posted September 8, 2015 They should also put the same forced MM for t10 BB players. T10 BB are just reaping poor cruiser players.
Syrchalis Players 1,401 posts 3,820 battles Report post #20 Posted September 8, 2015 It's the same with teamwork. WG is to blame for nearly no teamwork in this game, because they don't give players an incentive to do so other than "bragging with their winrate". You win more with teamwork, but it doesn't provide any benefit, since usually you end up with less XP and credits when teamworking and winning than soloing and losing. Players are like sheep, not because they are stupid, but because they share the goals of having fun, achieving things, learning things, connecting to people and convincing people. And thus, you have to appeal to these things to keep their attention. They gave you the goal to achieve T10 in a line, so you did that. One sheep is faster than the other, that's natural. I bet WG knew about this problem from the very start and they simply chose to ignore it. I for one can't complain about the wait at high tiers in my carrier, but it's not the players fault. It's nearly never the players fault. It is only then when things like gearscore in WoW happen - player created tools that change the community in a very bad way. Because those are really from the players.
Vulgarny Sailing Hamster 1,546 posts 3,274 battles Report post #21 Posted September 8, 2015 Ofc its player fault according to these BB bobs. Either because some rushed too fast or other played too slow. But its players fault.

How cant you balme the kid for eating more than he should have? Just because you are under responislbe of someone else's doesnt mean that someone else has to look out for your actions. I guess we can say that you were a mischievous kid. If you abuse a glitch and developers punish you for abusing that glitch who will you blame?
