[88TH] Siagor Players 1,336 posts Report post #3 Posted September 5, 2015 Oh yes, earnings are meager. Not suited for grind at all. But if you want a bit of quick refreshment from a losing streak or to calm down a bit, go PvE.

Like going to a spa :-) Hi zen, I spend a lot of time there testing as for one, it has less impact on other players and two, it is almost stress free. I actually got fed up grinding my New York and Kongo and finished off the last few thousand XP needed for the next tiers! Yes, earning is less but it is great for trying out different things. I had to do a reinstall, forgot it had defaulted to coop and pressed battle.... in a cleveland. Result? Me, and my team of St Louis and kawachi vs the enemy kawachi, St Louis and cleveland. End result was the enemy cleveland went the opposite direction from me. I had a very easy game killing tier 3 stuff. My team were less impressed at having to face off against a tier 6 HE machine gun. Lol. Yeah, played a game in the New Mexico there. Also only Tier 2-4 stuff in my team. They didn't like it.
[__] Kais_S012 Beta Tester 742 posts 1,694 battles Report post #9 Posted September 5, 2015 the only thing I dont really like is the mirror system for the teams in PvE. Personally aside from carriers (should be tier and class matched) a random fleet generator that matches you tier for tier would be prefered. it'd keep your fleet a little more on their toes as aexample if your fleet has a Ryujou(VI), Fuso(VI), Omaha(V), Furutaka(V), Pheonix(IV) and a Isokaze(IV)the AI fleet could have a Independence(VI), Aoba(VI), 2 Kongous(V), Kuma(IV) and Myogi(IV) with the addition of new fleets the fleet formations can get more diverse and give players a better if not slightly more challenging experience

We are talking WG MM here, you know? Very soon I would face 7 Yamato's in my New York :-) "Hey, it was supposed to be tier mirrored!" "-SFTU, working as intended!" sounds a like a challenge worth tackling but a fair point so they could tier and class match every ship... 9 times out of 10 its a St. Lewis fest for me, which is getting a spadge boring. given the Kriegsmarine and Stalins fantasy fleet coming into play soon that give you the Tenryu, St.Lewis, the SMS Sauerkraut (yes.. that was a joke) and whatever fictional communist supership Wargaming decides to include to be matched up against my money is on the Wirbelwind

Honestly, it feels like carrier gameplay in PVP. I tested it earlier today. The team full of Tirpitzes managed to die left and right and if it wasn`t for bad carrier AI (which was doing nothing), we would have been hammered against AI. YES, that is how awesome it is there. But please, all whine please because carriers are so OP and can safe a PvE game. Where is the own game contribution, if you can't just die and contribute to a loose ? Haven't been there in anything above Tier 6 (OK, just one or two in Atago, but it's a Premium and cheap with repairs). Up to Tier 6 you'll have more games without CV's then with them, all of them fun. So I amend my OP with "...up to Tier 6, you will not lose silver".
drdag Players 10 posts 227 battles Report post #18 Posted September 5, 2015 Coops are good fun. However there is massive space for improvement. allow division leader to create "historical" coop scenarios allow assymetric side balance, it should be possible to add more AI ships than player ships allow country specific side, absolutely hate playing mixed navies, it is utter nonsense increase XP and credits earned i would not have a problem if the achievements would not count for PvP
[ST-EU] Admiral_noodle Supertest Coordinator 6,337 posts 4,395 battles Report post #19 Posted September 5, 2015 Well we have PvP, ranked is coming. Why not try "historical" PvE as a mode. Smaller teams all from the same navy pitched against one enemy nation. You could even face new ships not available to the players. But that's a lot of work and most people want to fight each other. Maybe a PvP historical mode...
