That happened to me to so i used option "Cammo Remover" in Aslain mods (in the same section as skins). Now it's fine.

If you prefer to edit camouflages.xml you have to unpack the file first (on res_packages) with this:

It has a graphical UI, just install it to game root folder.

well.. i should share a version with you which doesn't require the updated gameparams file anymore... which doesn't break with every update... (you still need to update the flag.dds file though.. at least for the rising sun flag ect.)
