beani5003 Beta Tester 218 posts 4,196 battles Report post #1 Posted September 3, 2015 I don't know what you did to BB's other than the accuracy thing, but they are bloody amazing know, no more 7 hits and only 1030 damage broadsides. Damage is more regular and over-all a lot better. So, bravo, WG, bravo.

Userext Beta Tester 5,342 posts 2,957 battles Report post #4 Posted September 3, 2015 Someone was talking about BB accuracy receiving overall buff and at 3km range most accuracy. I didnt believe the guy much. Lets see if this gets the BB whines a bit lower. Maybe then they can hear our whines about DDs. I am starting to think going on RU forum and spamming bunch of UP DDs threads actually

[OUH] General_Kunde Players 406 posts 6,632 battles Report post #6 Posted September 3, 2015 Don't cheer too early. I remember one week after a patch in WoT where accuracy was just amazing. You could aim for weakspots and just hit them. Best week in WoT, but then came the silent nerf and everything was reverted to how it was before. This was the point I quitted. Let's see and hope.

I am starting to think going on RU forum and spamming bunch of UP DDs threads actually I also read something like this, here: http://blog.worldofwarships.eu/patch-notes-0-4-1/ "For all ships, increased gunfire accuracy at close quarters (i.e. at distances of 0.2 km to 4 km), which resulted in a minor increase in the accuracy of fire at medium- and long-range distances" After colossal facestomping in 0.4.0 this was right thing to do. I wonder if it include secondaries, but seeing my upgraded New Mexico couldn't scrape a paint from Clemson on 1,2 km i guess not.
Zenith Beta Tester 658 posts Report post #9 Posted September 3, 2015 I doubt it will last. Either WG will stealth revert the changes again in a few weeks, or the community will whine so hard about BBs being too good, that WG will offset the buff with some horrendous nerfs. They were always doing that in WoT, to the point that it became a bit of an in-joke whenever something non-Russian was buffed, that it almost inevitably meant big nerfs were on the way. Maybe I'm a pessimist, but I've seen how they 'balance' their games, and it's always massive ups and downs. Someone needs to introduce them to incremental changes. I wonder if it include secondaries, but seeing my upgraded New Mexico couldn't scrape a paint from Clemson on 1,2 km i guess not. it doesnt include secondaries. But you can use a flag and module for it. Some secondaries fires AP some fires HE. which is kind of a problem when it comes to dealing with enemies.

Haha I made that comment largely based on my experience in WoT. Every patch there would be a flurry of screams from people about how things had changed but with not even a hint of evidence in sight. Usually the same ones who would claim MM was rigged against them. Personally. How else could they possibly have tom-tom-tomato stats in XVM? [BW-UK] Gunship14 Players 850 posts Report post #16 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Maybe I got incredibly lucky but, first game I played today I got 160.000!! damage in my North Carolina. And that was me dying pretty early, since it was me and 2 Tirpitz vs cruisers, more Tirpitz and cruisers while our team was going the other side. Also got 7 citadels. If you'd used XVM, you would have seen just how strange the MM really was in that game. All red players on one team, and all green on another? Yeah, that sure is random... uh huh. All red players on one team, and all green on another? Yeah, that sure is random... uh huh. That scenario is hardly representative - sure you get massively uneven sides sometimes and sometimes they are a lot closer but that is in itself randomness. Things like platoons - generally - group like skilled players together which skew things but as a... well-above-average-but-way-below-unicum player I found it was pretty... well... random whether i would be on the 'better' (i.e as considered by XVM) or worse team. Perhaps slightly more often i would be on the better team but only by virtue of me being on that team. Anyway, it was not my intention to de-rail this thread so I'll stop now. All red players on one team, and all green on another? Yeah, that sure is random... uh huh. No, but that is normal and intentional. You see, Russian mentality enjoys the strong crushing the weak, whereas Western thinking enjoys fairness. To the common Russian, however, fairness is nothing but the weak begging for mercy. I am NOT joking, my Russian co-workers explained this to me at great lengths.

All red players on one team, and all green on another? Yeah, that sure is random... uh huh. So, what you`re saying is the MM is trying to boost people upwards of 50%, by boosting better player`s WR upwards, while at the same time lowering the ones with already abysmal WR? Because that is exactly what such MM would achieve. Now read again what you wrote, read what it actually means.. and presumably facepalm and drop the conspiracy theories.
