need help with graphical settings

So I am a player who plays on low settings but can play on medium (I do low for stability and such, here for the gameplay not the looks) anyway on low settings torpedoes do not move continuously they take steps (so you'll basically see them jolting towards you) I would like to change this, what is the setting that affects this so I can put it in higher to enable to see torpedoes move smoothly, Any help appreciated , sorry if this post is in the wrong place, first post and all
