Needless to say that my Tier 6 didnt last long against a fleet of T 8s. Gotta love the MM, I do hope the patch fixes this. [KLUNJ] beercrazy [KLUNJ] Beta Tester 1,509 posts 11,905 battles Report post #8 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) had a battle in my new mexico and faced a shed load of tirpitz as well so concentrated on the game and didn't worry over the high tier monsters and at the end we won and I was top of our team also had a battle In tier6 ryujo carrier and on my team was a independence and a tier 7 hiryu was on the enemy team and again lots of tirpitz, to fight but our independence suicide at the start of the match so was me alone against the hiryu and lots of tier 8s so I again just got stuck in and did my best and again a win and I came third in the team I do like the tirpitz but its the same as any ship and if a bad player has one it wont make him good that's for sure Edited September 1, 2015 by beercrazy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Having said that, the Tirpitz does seem to take Torps well, hit one with all 6 torps from a spread (each torp does up to 16k damage) and did a total of about 44k damage! I had no idea that damn thing had TORPS!! I must say, found it quite amusing that such a ship with a 20km gun range would have them but as you'll see in the vid', they can be used occasionally. Your abysmal Atago scores prove it. Here's the problem... you have not the experience to make the leap to high tiers. Therefore you're basically food. You need to play through lower tier ships and get experience with them, and at the same time learn both the game mechanics and how every ship works, what ammunition to use and when, tactical and strategic awareness, etc. You can't buy any of this, and in high tier matches being a newbie means you get wrecked really really fast and take a large hit on your virtual wallet. Of course, I love finding premium ship newbies when I'm in my Tirpitz or Mogami... om nom nom feeeed me those XPs and credits~ But I imagine you don't want to be food.... Gameplay with NC is easier than with Mexico because you simply shooting bigger targets( But enemies moving a bit more ). If you are good in Mexico 70-80k avg dmg or higher you gonna have same or better stats on NC. I bought Iowa yesterday after 150 games spent on NC. I enjoyed that ship. Im still avg player and have 80k avg dmg on it anyway.
