Here I trow in some tips for you, maybe helpful to get you there to earn your Battle Ship New-York, Can only give you info about US Navy So far maybe there is someone willing to put in some info about the Japan as well.O this is what I learned myself so far with Battleships If you don't agree please don't fuss about it but make a statement why you do not agree with a tactic. Everyone has another play style.

1. First when you finally command a battle ship without modules stay on distance and stay the hell away from Cruisers and don't come to close to Destroyers as well, keep a good distance from them...

2. Don't charge true the map I made that mistake a few times this will certainly your downfall, Best way is to navigate around islands, if you want to concentrate on the enemy I advise you to set autopilot and side way's from islands so you can use all cannons. And believe me you need them !!!

3. Everybody is so high on HE that they forget they sail an Battleship, My tip and I use them often with success AP Cannons. When aimed right they can do 10.000 damage in one shot or even sink a ship with one shot. Lucky shots I call them.

4.Don't always use zoom mode when a ship is far you can use it when a ship is close don't use zoom cannons will perfect aim there selfs, the system is A little buggy but it works very well for me.

5. When changing to a new ship use your existing commander with an retrain button this is useful when sailing a battle ship.

6. My Last tip don't slow down to much, if a torpedo bomber spots you you will be certainty doomed because the will drop torpedo's on you every direction....

Any more tips please put them here !!!

No one sir, just a beginners guide

Fair. I guess I just dont agree with some of your tips. Especially the one with autopilot and showing your broadside felt like a troll.

And I never ever ever use autopilot in a BB!!

Never ever use autopilot in anything that isn't a carrier.

OMG, God forbid that you raise your head above the parapet and offer an opinion unless you've played the game for years and are an 'expert'.

Otherwise, what's happened in this post - happens; 'expert' trolls come to gloat.

Too funny.

Hey buddy nice first attempt at trying to pass on what you have experienced in the game... Nicely worded and we'll laid out...

Unfortunately your advice is not ideal....firstly cruisers, they are the natural prey for BB, get under their guns and nuke them , with AP, just don't engage more than 2 at a time while alone....

Next up DD, know your DD each has its own weaknesses, RU and USN DD keep your tail at them with as many guns as possible on them and keep them at 6km, this way they are spotted and easy prey for your HE rounds.   IJN DD turn away as soon as you see them within 8km because they have probably already dropped their first batch of torps, then do as above keeping at least 8 km range ... Mark them as a priority target and load HE ASAP...

DO charge through the map, to one side or the other, not the middle, ensure you ask for support, a DD to spot and a cruiser or 2 to help with DD or Planes , ask at beginning and you will be surprised how many people will follow an aggressive BB, BB guns are most devastating at 10 to 12 KM,  so up close and personal is the way to go... Angled BB use HE on superstructure, non angled go AP for the Citadel hit.. If you have angled BB and AP loaded HOLD YOUR FIRE until he begins to turn his side to you...fire VOLLEY not SALVO... Or fire single turrets well aimed at different spots on the target...

Angling, nose on with just enough , around 15 degrees of angle, this should ensure that 75% of your guns are in action and LEARN the 'wiggle' (watch my vid on wiggle) get your guns pointed as far to the front as you can , while keeping them all pointing the same side, as your enemy fires at you angled, soak up the shots and begin your turn, hold down LMB and walk each turret onto your target, when second to last turet fires, reverse rudder, last turret will fire and you are beginning the turn back to nose on... Rinse and repeat...

Don't use zoom? WTF?

TB turn into or away as soon as they are 7k away and the range is dropping keep nose / tail pointed at TB.   Concentrate AA on TB first NOT DB...

OP maybe watch some of my YT vids I have posted a lot on our clan YT, link in SIG at bottom... You will see how to use repair ability at correct time, angling, aiming, etc etc on them...

[uh, no, the distance you should strive to stay at depends on what ship you're using. Some battleships are great for brawling and thus you want to be close to the enemy. Likewise, some are much better if you stand back and snipe. This is on a case by case basis and it also depends on what you're engaging. Kongo vs New York 1v1, smart Kongo always wins because he just stays out of New York range and hammers him to scrap, for example. However, Kawachi really really wants to hug you and rip you apart with his secondaries and winged primary gun turrets]

2. Don't charge true the map I made that mistake a few times this will certainly your downfall, Best way is to navigate around islands, if you want to concentrate on the enemy I advise you to set autopilot and side way's from islands so you can use all cannons. And believe me you need them !!! [Autopilot is for carriers only. If you are so bad at situational awareness that you need autopilot consistently to not hit land, then you really REALLY need to TURN IT OFF and learn situational awareness by ramming islands and paying for that mistake until it sinks into your head that you actually need to pay attention to everything you, your team and the enemy team is doing, not just where your shells are landing. One other thing this tip sets you up for failing is armor angling, whose effective use is key to surviving as a battleship against superior firepower]

3. Everybody is so high on HE that they forget they sail an Battleship, My tip and I use them often with success AP Cannons. When aimed right they can do 10.000 damage in one shot or even sink a ship with one shot. Lucky shots I call them. [Finally a decent tip, though incomplete. Battleship AP is for other battleships and cruisers. Destroyers, use HE. However, don't just blindly switch to HE the moment you see a destroyer, clear the barrels of AP ammo by firing them. Overpen damage still is damage. Also, the locations for those 10k damage hits are what's called citadel hits. Look it up to learn more about them, where to aim to score them and so forth.]

4.Don't always use zoom mode when a ship is far you can use it when a ship is close don't use zoom cannons will perfect aim there selfs, the system is A little buggy but it works very well for me. [unless you're in melee range with another ship, not using zoom is a very suspect tip. Given that in order to maximize citadel hits you'll usually be aiming at the waterline, you really really need zoom at any but the shortest distances]

5. When changing to a new ship use your existing commander with an retrain button this is useful when sailing a battle ship. [if you want to spend doubloons retraining, that is. Retraining for silver doesn't help you as much as you think unless your captain is low level, at which point you're not getting ahead that much. More importantly, until you DO finish retraining, you don't benefit from any of the captain's skills, which means you're actually playing a ship with a crippled captain. I usually just use spare doubloons to get a couple extra skill points at the start to get a leg up and train a captain for each ship from scratch, but using premium ships for the retraining is also viable and in fact one of their main uses.]

6. My Last tip don't slow down to much, if a torpedo bomber spots you you will be certainty doomed because the will drop torpedo's on you every direction.... [Another tip I largely agree with, speed is life. Though in particular thanks to latest patch being bugged, slowing down a bit can actually throw off enemy long range fire badly, at least for the first salvo or two, because there's no smoke stack visual cue to help judge how fast they're going. I'll mention that on the topic of torpedo bombers there's a lot to be said... in fact, a lot to be said about all torpedo platforms and their tactics. Look for guides. My tip is, remember you have a rudder and the best way to defend yourself against torpedo attacks is to realise ahead of time where torpedo attacks are likely coming from before you even see the torpedos. Situational Awareness is your best defense! Know where the enemy is, what their weapons are and try to get in their head.]

Any more tips please put them here !!!

I think you need to read guides and get more experience under your belt before you try your hand at writing guides. Bolded sections, read them.
