Premium ships are worse than stock.

Bought the ATAGO its actally a nerfed version of the myoko, compared to stock.   Heck even Mogami is better.   Nice videos to sell these premium ships but not falling for the next ones.   Its not worth purchasing.   But the marketing subtle to lie to sell these ships has left a bad taste.

Yes, they are worse, and that is OK.

 

The idea of Premium ship is not to be better than a normal ship of it's tier, but 1) to make more money and 2) train your captains.

 

Those are the only two reasons why you buy a premium ship. Don't expect anything else.

Rule number two: Ignore Rule number 1 when you realise that premium ships are never, ever supposed to be better than non-premium ships of the same tier. Their purpose is to generate credits and xp to help support high tier ships and train captains.

You should shove this WoT attitude up your ****. WoWs is being developed by completely different developers and I think that they have already shown that their approach is completely different than the one for WoT.

 

Btw Atago is great ship. Murmansk is so overpowerd that if it was stronger, it would fly at synchronous orbit and shoot photon torpedoes. Atlanta is great ship. Warspite is great ship. Gremmy is great ship. Yubari and Sims are OK, both getting buffs... Learn their roles.

It has nothing to do with trust, or miss selling; Premium ships are not supposed to be any better than a stock ship of the same tier and class, the same as wot. You are paying for increased credit, xp gain and a captain training platform, not paying for a shortcut to wins.

I assume you are talking about the Op, perhaps you should look a little harder, he has 39 pve games some of which are in an atago.

Actually premium tanks/ships are meant to be better than stock but worse than elite. Not the same as stock.

It might be better to start PvP at a lower tier and work and learn you way up from there. We all had to do it. After you reach tier 8 and have some experience with PvP you might have a different view/opinion about the Atago.

I fear that at this moment without any real experience it really doesn't matter what T8 ship you will take..a NC, Amagi, Tirpitz, Atago, Mogami....other player most likely have simply more experience and will outclass you.

But don't face someone who is good in this ship, or you will be doomed. If you get the camouflage, the skill and the modul, the Atago can stay hidden up to 8,9 km, with shooting to 12,9km. So he has a range of around 3km where he can hammer you without you even seeing him. And if he doesn't shoot, he has 1,1km to launch his torps at you, without getting detected.

Yup I thought the other half of the idea of premium was that you swipe once and poof you go to tier 8 or 7 or whatever, without the horrible horrible grind like the plebs.

 

And then there is the odd one out that's actually a bit OP and people play to get dough or boost stats or whatever.
