[CATCH] Addicus Beta Tester 181 posts 17,590 battles Report post #3 Posted August 10, 2015 Why do players come here and post that they are going to quit the game? Quit already. It's like a person going out on the ledge of a building and shouting "I'm going to jump!". Well do it, or go back inside. I've got better things to do than watch your drama and I'm done trying to talk jumpers off the ledge.

No one forces you to read their tread so quit the bitching.

WatchdogCZ Players 173 posts 669 battles Report post #9 Posted August 10, 2015 Maybe the players unhappy with some ship stats to the point of wanting to quit may wish to consider listing their objections in a constructive way and waiting till next 0.x version of the BETA version of the yet fully unreleased game or in a case of extreme dissatisfaction even consider waiting till it is released as a finished game? daki Weekend Tester 1,677 posts 20,280 battles Report post #14 Posted August 10, 2015 Maybe you should play with other ships? +1 As simple is that. There are tons of great ships in lower tiers (meaning T5 or less). So its very difficult to understand the logic behind quitting a game because of that one ship... If you do not want to grind it, free xp is your friend And its free! (unless you want to spend some cash on conversion )
Deamonhunter Beta Tester 16 posts Report post #15 Posted August 10, 2015 I can understand how you feel, just dont let it be a reason for quitting m8 Play other lines and grind that free xp so you can skip that ship I personally used a lot of free xp on my furutaka and it felt good to get rid of the thing, just could not make it work... If you have your port full with ships and do your dailly bonus with all of them, that free xp will start add up quite fast. GL&HF

Been there, done that. I think you should just continue grinding, maybe team up with others to increase the odds of wins and better teamplay. Improve, the Colorado sucks and everybody knows it, but it's still able to dish out quite some damage. The more often you play in this ship, the better you'll get and everything after the Colorado is worth the grind - I know it, I got a Montana
Pivke Beta Tester 542 posts 3,394 battles Report post #17 Posted August 10, 2015 another Colorado victim bites the dust! the first mistake was purchasing this turd ship. you wasted a lot of credits, you know? there is a benefit of reading the forums... colorado warnings were plenty the general agreement is to gather free XP untill you skip that ship entirely. dont waste your credits, dont waste your sanity! i hope this helps someone in the future. Also better penetration, DPM, protection against HE and better accuracy. I am glad about that as sailing the New York is as frustrating as can be. Not its general stats but its damn lack of speed, I am always the last one to the fight but by then it is over! I try not to turn as it bleeds 25% of its slowness (cannot possibly call it speed) and will still always be the fat lazy kid slow to get where they need to be..... Back to the OP. We can all make knee jerk decisions and in some cases shout them out for all the world to hear but do we really mean them? More often than not as it is just a cry for attention, someone to listen to you and in this case you have your audience but I am afraid you will get some that want to throw eggs at you and ridicule you (they will never be the kindest people in the world!). I suggest taking a sharp intake of breath and reconsider, as I am sure there are more positives than negatives, and to quit because of one negative (the Colorado in your instance), is really not worth it. Sounds like when I finally get the New York I will grind enough XP to buy myself out of the Colorado!
[OCTO] Broevaharo Alpha Tester 726 posts 50,433 battles Report post #24 Posted August 11, 2015 Every line has a rotten apple in it, the Pensacola in the US cruiser line, the Furutaka in the IJN cruiser line, the Kawachi that can't hit a barn door if it was sailing right in front of it, the Mutsuki that is mweh to say the least and there are also ships that are fine but just don't work for someone (the Lexington in my case). Just play those ships for the daily 1,5 and play other ships that you do like gathering free XP and skip the hated ship.
Sir_Armand Beta Tester 38 posts 554 battles Report post #25 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) Every line has a rotten apple in it Sidestrafe made a video about this subject. I agree with him. The "Grind" should not be a grind, it should be fun gamplay that leads to higher tiers. That people are suggesting free-xp-ing past an entire class is symptomatic of a problem.: That players have to "suffer" through boring ships in order to play fun ships. That is the fundamental flaw with the "grinding tiers" game system. Edited August 11, 2015 by Sir_Armand
