My dad bought it to me as a birthday present. After that he made me read a book about sinkin the Tirpitz. Well it was about the mini sub attack. Facinatin read it was.Thanks dad.. I can't imagine that they purposely chose that flag during the reveal at Gamescon in Germany . I personally are fine with the historical emblem, but I would hazard a aguess to say that both WG and some Germans are not. I would prefer this ensign to be honest, simply due to aesthetics. I thought I saw a very different emblem in the centre of the flag it should be for the '35-'45 period... like this But seeing how the swastika is banned in Germany and they even changed the IJN flag (for which there is no legal reason), i don't see them ever using the historically correct flag. I like the Naval Jack and thought that WG would chose that because of it being more visible at longer distances, but the eagle is undoubtedly more aesthetically pleasing.
