So what is your jinxed ship?

For me there are three of them, the Omaha, the Fuso and the Lexington, no matter what I do I just can't seem to get a win in it.

In the Lexi I shoot down planes left, right and centre I even manage to hit people with torps but I get a lot of draws in it.

The same with the Omaha, I do really good in the Murmansk (which basically is an Omaha) but with the Omaha its just mweh.

And the Fuso, it just can't keep up with how good I do in the Kongo.

 

So tell me what are your jinxed ships?

Langley and especially the Bogue felt difficult for me. I'm too lazy to go look at my stats page.

Especially the Bogue was an awefull grind. First tried stike loadout, but near every game was 1v2. And I'm talking me versus 2 fighter bogues.... Even had games where I didn't launch any planes, because I had 4 fighters circling me. So I switched to fighters myself. But yeah, can't carry or do much damage that way. Ugh. Glad I'm at the Independence now.

 

edit: to add. Omaha is my prime ship . Too bad you are having trouble with it. I love that thing to bits. The Murmansk as well. Give me more Omaha copy premium ships

Kuma. I like her a lot, I have decent stats... but after 32 battles only 44% WR.... maybe this will get better, when I play more...

I have only played the US CL/CA line so far up to tier 7, however for me the tier 6 Cleveland was a jinxed ship, not in what it could do but with the teams I was placed in during the first half of the XP grind, as a result my WR when down from ~56% to ~40%, but I was still getting good XP, but when half or more your idiot team get wiped out in the first 10min while doing very little to the opposing team its an uphill battle to salvage things.

 

the latter half of the XP grind changed a bit as often I would find myself with more team orientated players so the WR went up too, however as a ship on its own it has a win rate of just 36% which is by far the lowest of all my ships, however I am keeping it, as by the time I got to the Pensacola the commander on the Cleveland made it quite effective and IF/when WG split the CL and CA lines I want to make sure I still have the Cleveland.

Go to you stats on the portal. Click on warships. Then ship types then click on the actual ship and you will see detailed stats.

then navigate to warships > destroyers > then click on the e.g. Nicholas

 

 

you will then see its individual stats by clicking on its name, i.e. 22% for the Nicholas

Pensacola - it felt like I was sailing around in a paper boat.  Plunging fire from BBs seemed to be my usual exit from the game.  Although the grind didn't take too long there were too many games when I had to turn and run after just a few hits from a tier 6 or 7 BB left me with 10-15% HP.

Probably will get stoned to death here but for myself it's the Cleveland (was in CBT). I don't have much luck with her, have been one salvoed from full HP to death more times than I care to remember (that small citadel don't seem to be a problem for many a player, good or bad).

 

My AA don't seem to be this "OP" that everyone talks about; many a time torpedo and bombers have flown over me laughing at me where I was lucky to kill 2 planes out of 3 plane squads. Forgot to mention, one time 3 squadrons flew over me and I got 0 plane kills.. I was like huh!. Had to send all my sailors to the doc for an eye test.

Most ships kill me with ease even if I angle and zig-zag.

 

I am just plainly jinxed in this ship.

The Omaha. It's the one ship that I've been continuously one hotted. It must have a very powerful magnet located in the magazine to draw shots directly to it.

 

On the plus side for every mag-det I did get 10 flags to prevent... and I needed them all!

For me, it's the Phoenix. I just can't get a handle on this thing, is it a heavy destroyer or a light cruiser? I run ahead to cap a base and let off some fish, I get pounded, I stay back with the fleet and my fish are useless and I get pounded, what do you do with it?!

Haha... don't use your fish. Stay with a good BB and defend him. When you see a DD, head straight for him;. use the front guns to give him some pain, then maybe finish him with your fish as you call them. Don't go into the front line, as you know already. If you stay back of course your fish will be useless, they are for close encounter only. I basically play that ship as a hit and run, dodges well so keep turning and zig-zaging.

Phoenix is kinda fragile so try to keep your silhouette as small as possible, if you show your broadside to anything bigger than a dinghy you are toast

New York: yesterday i had 3 consecutive battles with over 80k damage that ended in a loss...had to quit for the day, my heart just cuoldn't take it any more.

Te Nagato also looked like it was going to be a pain when i first got it but after i upgraded it it seems quite nice, still not as good as the Fuso tough

And after Nicholas you will finally be FREE... to get the Farragut which is basically a Nicholas with even worse camo, shorter range torps, and tier 6 MM.
