So perhaps this topic can be closed rather quickly but I'm curious: I saw in this topic: "Port of call: Open Beta" that it was said that there will be no more wipe by Ectar (Community manager). Is this the case then and, if so, was it the same for World of Tanks & World of Warplanes? The open beta of World of Tanks is, well, already some time in the past and I was wondering if WarGaming can confirm that these two games had the same structure (as in; no more wipes after open beta). Although I read it in the above mentioned topic I still hear the occasional voice (WoT clanmates and other people) telling me that it's probably still getting wiped... edited: If any WG staff can, again, confirm this with more than one word feel free to, immediately, close or move this topic! They cannot rule out a wipe as there may be some kind of bug or whatever technical reason that might necessitate one, but no wipe is planned. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In the more extended FAQ from some time ago, the devs stated quite detailed, that there will only be another wipe if they encounter some massively gamebreaking issue, that makes the whole OBT progress questionable. Dear god give me strength, you also won't find a General (worth his salt) on Earth that will absolutely guarantee that global thermonuclear war will not break out next week. There is an infinitesimally small chance but a chance none the less. But that chance is so small that the general public can basically ignore it, just like a wipe. If you are that concerned about probabilities then best steer clear of doctors and hospitals for any reason other than visiting as almost every treatment they offer (including mild painkillers) have a very small probability of killing you. You say that like it's obvious to people but i can tell you it's not. I don't really think there is going to be a wipe and neither do i want a wipe. I just know that saying there aint going to be one and then they will wipe people will burn this forum to the ground I'm not here to start trouble i just know that what game designers say and what game designers do i not always the same thing.
