In this game I team up with my brother ( in our 40s) and we only play the game late at night or when the kids are at school. You have probably come out onto the forum after a poor run, we all have them. Best way is to division up with someone, that will lessen any frustration you may get. Stick with it, good players do, it is the (being ever so polite here) lesser talented players that will get bored so they will flee leaving the rest to enjoy it. WG doesn't do balancing around player performance and they don't do rewards for individual achievements particularly well either. So even for good players it's always going to be a lottery to see which team gets assigned the most skilled players and you as an individual player can only turn a loss into a win in very few battles, that is unless you're part of the 1% unicum group. But you don't have to play PvP. Yea, sure Failgaming made the PvP more rewarding but you can play PvE and relax. I mean if PvP would be the only play option I wouldn't even bother installing the game. I just play some games, do the "daily double"( I'm mean the daily one and half. Well done Failgaming!) and that's it. I don't intend to go above tier 5-6 in any ship, ever, because let's be honest, this game has the same economy as WoT and that's not a f2p game and if you went high tier you have to pay or be a live target for paying players. That been said, I have no problems with bad teams, the worse they play the better score I get because in general I can "carry" the game my self unless I'm in a -2 tier ships and the top tier players really fail bad. I learned that from 25 years of online gaming. Its all about what you expect. I dont expect any kind of teamplay, all i expect is not getting teamkilled and i will figure out how to deal maximum damage and help us win. I only expect teamplay from players in my division. Off topic : I just saw some amazing footage from an FPS game called "Squad", it looks very good and i believe you can expect teamplay in that game. Look it up ! We try to pick complimentary ships, and ones that don't share the same weakness - i.e. not two battleships because they struggle with DD. We generally make the assumption our team isn't going to be stellar, and the oppossing team will be co-ordinated. Usually both teams aren't co-ordinated, but at least this way you don't get nasty suprises. Talking helps a lot, we'll usually put something in chat, and judging by replies see who on our team might be reliable. Sometimes its none.
