wtf i purchased the uss Atlanta "rain of fire " you cant repair the main turrets when knocked out torpedos come thou islands at you from bots on co op and why is it grey on the screen do you have to be able to use it on the tech tree to get the full benefits ..............this wasnt mentioned in the purchase also NO EXP WHEN I DO USE THE THING i best get my money back

You don't get much XP from co op, go to randoms against humans instead

The disadvantages of the Atlanta include: Very vulnerable citadel, easily damaged main armament and somewhat short range which needs to be increased through the captain skill "Advanced Firing Training". As for torps coming through islands thats just your perception.

The advantages include: Deletion of destroyers at close range, powerful torps for flopping battleships at close range, especially around islands, powerful long range AA aura and the rate of fire is annoying for battleships being rained on. Just don't get shot and youre fine.

You would have been best served by visiting and interacting in the forums, where if you had you would have read many reviews on the Atlanta. Also this ship is best used by experienced captains and once you have learnt to use ships to the best of their respective abilities you may do well with her then.

Dude, You have 13 battles total and I don`t see any Atlanta battles (ok, maybe they already removed it from your profile), but point is - in this game you can`t just buy high tier ship/tank/plane and hope to be good at it, if you have 0 expierence in playing game.

Both Atlanta and Atago are floating citadels. But have the power to wipe you extremely fast if not killed.

Bought the most overpowered ship in the game, still manages to complain.

After 3 batles with it, you can certainly judge a ship. Especialy when you never played above tier 4 before

 

For your information the Atanta is great ship, if you know how to use it.

Check his PVE stats. 3 Atlanta games, 26k average damage, 1 game survived.

The issue here is the bad captain with low skill points and the players inexperience with the game adversely affecting the ships performance in his hands.

I can't get a win in my Atlanta for love nor money, but that doesn't mean I don't like it. It is very situational and I think I am still learning how to play it to it's best, but I'm having fairly good games and enjoying it even if I can't get a win.

 

Apart from the game where we had 5 Atlanta's on our side and the red team had 3 or 4 Atagos and 2 Clevelands on the Ocean map.... That really is not a good map to get in the Atlanta!

You have to treat it like an over sized DD, with less speed. Its sheer firepower will destroy any DD in range and if you support the killing of a battleship its one of the best DPM ships in game...

Her speed is still 35'ish , and she turns on a dime, some of the DD's be looking at her like "damn gurl"

As well as a few other words not repeatable on the forum when it fires at them...seen alot of sims dies very fast.

In all honousty, its your own fault for for being unhappy about your purchase. U should have done some research into what u are buying. 

 

Do u buy a house simply by looking at it from afar? Nope, u look in the house and u look at other houses, and then make your decision. 

Do u buy a Car simply by clicking the first thread in google? Nope, U look at other car occasions who sell the same car, so u can pick the price u want. 

etc etc.

Well depending on things go i either help hunting DDs down or perform my favorite role, which is, find me a pack, 1 BB and 1 CA and just tag along, then its academic if the first opponents we find choose to ignore me i just sail around the flanks and give them the weather forecast .

 

Last time i played was in this open seas map and a very unlucky Wyoming decided that taking a Myogi out instead of me was the better choice and i still remember the two chat lines that appeared in-game.

Its a pretty fun ship to sail but i still think its pretty much balanced, you trade range for rof and armour for maneuverability, the only other ship where i felt so good was my Cleveland .
