New ships screenshots

I found 2 of the new ships on a russian video, sadly these are the only thing I saw in them and there were no more stats and gameplay.

It seems both Mikasa and Tachibana are tier 2.. that Torpedo rating on Tachibana though..XD

It's weird that we still haven't seen anything of these new ships even though they are supposed to appear in random battles.

They said in the same stream that they won't show battle with them as they are not finally balanced yet and won't show stats because of that.

So the live server is their public test server? I can imagine they did that because this patch didn't come with a public test.

I do wonder though... Mikasa is supposed to appear in the shop, but the rest... did it occur to anyone that we might be looking at mission or event rewards here? I mean, WG anniversary is next month, and at least in WoT they dish out a low tier premium tank for that, just like they do for christmas. Plus, with gifts, nobody (should) complain about clones

Benson's torps, 14500 damage and 52 kts, that's same damage and better range and detection than Furutaka but worse speed. Balance much!

Yeah, half the number of guns with half the rate of fire. I've just read that those guns could not penetrate 15.8 cm of armor

Even if the Mikasa will probably be destroyer food at tier 2, looking at you Umikaze, i will still get her, but then again for some reason i even enjoyed the extinct Albany despite how bad it was.

Now...USS-Cincinnati...i know those camos existed, but boy is that ugly...it almost looks pink from a distance, not sure it will give the ship many charmpoints.

Not that much, Look at her maneuverability, 450 turn radius with 13 sec rudder shift time, Essentially the whole armament of the St.Louis as secondary.

That maneuverability is actually quite nice, didn't see that indeed. That will make it quite fun to troll low tier dd's.

Personally i think the damage repair party at  tier 2 should help hert with that. I just hope i don't have the bad luck of the Kawachi guns with the Mikasa. Always feels you have to sacrifice a goat to rng to make them hit. In a tier 3 match i doubt the Mikasa will be very fun if you run against the flocks of St Louis that you normally find there.

I doubt You will see any T3 stuff in her, If the Devs made her with her original 12"/40 guns, then You will have a hard time dealing with a St.Louis firing AP at you, those guns had bad penetration and can only manage max 1 rounds per minute, I guess tier 2 only MM.

And her range is way better than I expected, around 9-10 km, with the low RoF and only 4 guns, You will probably have good accuracy, at least better than the Kawachi's.

 

 

Or not and She will be a horribad Nightmare
