British tech tree gone?

So I guess the Warspite has been withdrawn? Since this mornings update I no longer have a british tech tree in the game....?

Well they said it even on the main page: Warspite is going to be taken out because: REASONS ... if they do not want new people playing with high lvl stuff then why giving us prem ships in the first place? especiel that high up when the game is still not finished properly (to much stupidness in development like in WOT and WOWP ... yet i praied that they would this time make a good job well its up to Gaijin it seems)

Wow didn't even bother to post on EU any patch notes even though it's just removal of one premium :/

Not that it's removal going to do any good to players ability to play better but meh.

well the reason you said was not the reason atleast not the main one. it went into CBT to be testet it was not planned to be in OBT aswell but since so many people liked it they decided to put it in for a few weeks so the people that wantet it could get it. And that is why they are removeing it.

as i said it has nothing to do with that it was not even intended to be in the OBT the only reason it was in is because people liked it so WG was nice and led the people who wantet it get it

As an alpha testers I'm surprized you've missed all of the talk about the Warspite and the reasons for it being available for a limited time. It's only been discussed on our forums oh.. Pretty much every week since it was added to CBT... The reasons for it's removal are detailed below

I dont think so , there will already be the queen elizabeth class at T6 , (which warspite is part of) , so I think this ship is gone forever, a bit like Arkansas beta and Wyoming at T4.

There's not really any reason not to bring it, then, and tbh I funny expect it to come back then. The class can and will appear in the tech tree nontheless, Waqrspite will just have a rather unique set of modules, not the top ones you will find on the researchable QE class. Arkansas is a middle version of a ship already in the tech tree, Bismarck/Tirpitz are both from what I know confirmed as one researchable and one premium, even though they are the same class of ships.

I seriously doubt that. It's probably one of the Royal Navies most iconic vessels, it'll be back maybe they are re-balancing it.

Oh I forgot about that. I have the 'Classics of Naval Literature - HMS Warspite' book at home. Will have to dig it out and read it again sometime.

I think it will be back eventually msaybe just before the British tree or when it is announced.  Hopefully we can get a time frame of when the Royal Navy is expected or at least the Russian

Am ex forces and I know that some names and logos have Crown and or MoD copy write and it might well be an issue with U.K. ships that either they cannot afford this, or that the Crown and/or MoD will not allow them in this game mode. Just a thought.

@Ectar: Didn't see the message that it was going to be removed (I knew it was eventually going to be), so I missed the chance to buy it again. Will the Warspite return when the British tech tree are included in the game, or can we expect it to be available in a couple of months, when there's a healthy amount of T6-T8 around?
